Meh
I quite like the EVSE itself (although I’ve had issues of it randomly disconnecting), but the app needs a lot of work. It looks nothing that’s in the photos, it’s much more basic.
Basic App, works well, looking for up grades
A bit of a learning curve at the start. Trying to figure out what the charger will do versus my PHEV. all working well now after one week. Would like to be able to export charging data into an Excel spreadsheet for further review. As well be able to manually input HYDRO costing data by time.

Charger keeps on disconnecting even if wifi super strong close to it and on 2.4ghz
Does not work with older Smart chargers
To all of us that have older, as in last year‘s model of Wifi Smart charger, this app is not compatible. This is why people are reporting that their charger cannot be found. I don’t understand why this company releases an app that doesn’t work with all of their smart chargers. The charger has worked well, but completely useless with the chargeLab app

Kicks me out
Just got my Grizzl e installed today and every time I try connecting it kicks me out and says ‘something went wrong’. Deleted app and reinstalled 4 times and still the same problem. Not impressed

App worked long enough to get the charger connected, now, when the app loads it just displays the message “something went wrong”.

Sadly United Chargers refuses to refund my purchase. I am on a second charger unit and now the software has failed.

Latest update breaks app
This update that got pushed out two days ago broke the app. It will just randomly stop working and display the message of “something went wrong” at the top of the screen and the only option is to force close the app. This needs to be fixed as it happens randomly as you are navigating the app.
