  • My Solar Power System

    I have been trying to find out how efficient my system is, not just by my bills, but on a daily basis. I finally Googled my battery manufacturer (Tesla) and found this app. Lo and behold, it provides me with just the information I was looking for. Now I can make sure that my batteries are prepared for any outage and still keep my power bills as close to zero as possible. Because I live in earthquake and flash flood territory, I chose a battery level of 50%, so I feel I’m prepared for most cases. Thank you, Tesla and your programmers! I love your app and it is so easy to use. Keep up the great work. I also love my installation company, Renova Solar. They have the best management and excellent staff! I would recommend them to everyone.

  • Love this app!

    This app lets me easily automate so that I am not using the Powerwall to charge my electric car. I have tried other utilities but nothing else worked with Powerwall 3. I am so happy I found this. One issue I have is most of the time the diagnostic screen just stays black.

    Been using this for a couple of weeks now after a recommendation from a Tesla employee. It is really good and if you’ve got a Powerwall, this app is a must. It adds a level of control that turns an already great battery system, into a superb battery system.
    Recognising when the car is charging and change settings to allow the battery to charge from cheap grid, or to set a limit on charging etc.
    if you have a smart tariff with the likes of Octopus, the system will automatically set your times each day to allow hassle-free use of cheap rate charging and maximise your export earnings.

  • Very useful app

    I use this app on my iPad. It is formatted for iPad use where many apps are not. I love being able to see all the graphs on one screen and the ability to swipe to see previous days. It also lets you select your billing date for your utility bill so you have a better idea of what to expect for billing usage, but you have to keep in mind that the numbers are not exact (not sure why, but it isn’t).

  • Awesome App and must have for Powerwall Owners!

    This is such a vital app for Powerwall owners, allowing you to not only control the power wall with powerful automations but also keep track of your battery degradation history (for warranty purposes )which Tesla has intentionally sabotaged from its portal

  • Fantastic, easy control and great support

    Has researched ways to better control the powerwall before we had it and solar installed and this app looked to be the best way forwards - and my research wasn’t wrong. Easy to setup and integrate, great data insight and even better control over the system, especially now that the App can integrate non Tesla EV chargers through threshold limits. Support from Ziga has been amazing. Quick responses and useful guidance and always happy to help, when something simple or complex is asked. Ongoing development can only improve this App which will make it even better.

  • Awesome!

    Since taking the plunge and investing in solar panels and a Tesla powerwall 2, I have moved over to Octopus. I had been eyeing up octopus agile as an alternative to flux import and export tariffs, but knew that it would be impractical to key in the daily data needed. I found an advert for Netzero on Redit, and decided to give it a go. It is amazing! All the work taken out of entering in the daily prices of agile. The app also allows you to select the export rate you may be using ( in my case fixed export). I only now need to key in when I want my Prius plug in to granny charge which I do via a home control Wi-Fi plug. We are also going to invest in Air sourced heat pump, and not only will we save money in the very long term, but have a good feeling about our contribution to the planet.

    Good addition to Tesla app. Helps streamline powerwall charging times and discharge behaviour. Seamless integration with the Tesla ecosystem. Haven’t had any problems and the app landing page is streamlined and easy to understand.

  • Ability to schedule exports is awesome

    Just what I’ve been looking for. I can control how much power I export and when, so much better than the Tesla app allows for. Great app!
