  • Excellent App

    I've been using NetZero for a few months now and love it. The charts are well thought out with good use of color to present lots of info on the one plot. The Powerwall Automation feature is easy to use and works well.

  • Amazing Automation

    This app really helps offer features that the Tesla app does not do. I only wish I could do more like if the power wall drops to a certain percentage then I could kick off a rule to adjust the temperature of nest thermostats to automatically begin to load shed things in the house.

    Thanks for the feedback! Nest integration is something we will explore as well. You can also look at IFTTT integration (Developer Access in Netzero).

  • Excellent app for Tesla solar monitoring

    Works great to see the performance of your Tesla solar system. The diagnostics are also good to check out the status of the gateway and powerwalls now that Tesla is making looking at the gateway site difficult.

    Support for the app is also great.

  • Amazing

    So much better than trying to monitor in the Tesla App. User friendly and intuitive.

    Might be nice to add an average temperature line on the month views for home usage and production to see how usage and production changes with ambient temperature effects.

  • Octopus Agile users NEED this app

    Every day at 4pm the Octopus Agile rates are published.

    I had another app that told me the cheapest 3 hours and I was then manually changing the Tesla app to tell it when is the best time to charge.

    I’ve now found out this app will automatically update your Powerwall with the Agile prices. Making it more accurate than what I was doing and saving all that time each day.

    This will save me money and time every single day. Amazing. No adverts and not constantly sending out notifications etc…

  • Automation is almost there

    Automation feature is the best part of this app. I’ve created 10 rules that enable me to have sufficient charge to carry us through the peak and most of the shoulder power prices every day, no matter how little solar power is generated. Enables us to take full advantage of the TOU tariff and grid charging. The ability to combine a time of day based charge % > or < level in one rule would enable me to remove most of these rules. I realise it can be done with IFTTT but my coding skills are deficient these days. In any event, the current automation meets my needs and I can’t thank you enough for developing this app for the community.

  • Automation for the masses

    Not only does this app give you great detail about your powerwall that the native app doesn’t it allows you to automate the settings based on time or powerwall status this is invaluable when working with saving sessions or trying to export to the grid without running out of battery. I can now set a limit thst stops the powerwall exporting when it reaches a certain level of charge and forget about it till winter time. Then in winter will use the automation to flip to self powered once fully charged then I’m not at the mercy of the Tesla logic and I don’t have to have a degree in computer science to use home automation. Awesome job keep up the good work!

  • Excellent App

    I have Tesla Solar with Powerwalls, and Netzero is great! Not only does it allow me to see my power production and consumption, but it allows me to see diagnostic information for my system, and allows me to modify settings on my Powerwalls based on a number of parameters.
