  • Very useful - just what I was looking for.

    It would be good to understand the strategy chosen at any point - eg why didn’t the Powerwall charge overnight (perhaps because high solar expected) etc.

    Thanks for the review! Powerwall behavior is determined by Tesla's algorithms, but we'll consider documenting what is known this. It does take into account prediction of solar generation and house usage, and will avoid pulling from the grid if unnecessary.

  • Great App

    The app is great and it was a great tool to use with Amber while smart shift is not set up yet.
    One thing I would love to have is to allow me to manually charge and discharge the PW2 battery as it is now very painful trying to trick the system to make it charge or discharge!

  • Has a killer feature

    This app is good for viewing your Tesla Powerwall data, great for viewing detailed info about your Powerwall and has an absolutely killer feature on top of that. The ability to automatically sync dynamic pricing from Octopus energy tariffs into the Tesla app. I had been doing this manually every day when the new prices are released. This does it automatically. It’s incredible and enables you to save loads of money on electricity but using it at cheap times, on a tariff that’s way cheaper than fixed tariffs. This is a totally unique feature, I’ve not found anything else that does this. As if that wasn’t brilliant enough, I emailed the developer to ask if he could add an extra export tariff to match what I use, so I could access the right prices. Not only did I get I really quick reply, he agreed to add it and then did so within a day or so. Incredible service.

  • Octopus Agile Integration - Wow

    This app finally stops be having to update the Octopus Agile rates each day into the Tesla app. The rates get uploaded to the Powerwall automagically.

    In the official Tesla app you can put four different rates and set the Buy and Sell price. This app uploads the exact Octopus Agile cost profile, which you can see on the Grid tab of the official app. It does this without the app running via a server. Awesome.

    I now find myself opening the Tesla app just as frequently, but now to look at the dynamic pricing profile.

    Lots of improvements could be made to the GUI, it needs a good go over by an experienced UX designer, but that’s irrelevant while it does the Octopus Agile Integration. Thanks!

  • NetZero APP

    This app is the only thing about Tesla service that works. Their app is all about sales. In reality, there is no service. At best there is the promise to be in contact in 10 days. Not even the courtesy of a recording of crickets. Got a message Re how to track the request. Total dead end. But, they keep the auto pay functioning just fine.

  • Excellent App

    The app is faster to provide overall information/data than the Tesla App and provides all basic information on the main screen. For me the best things are the ability to easily see and monitor battery degradation and the automation ability. One ‘opportunity for improvement’: Update to permit the Powerwall automation to include date settings, for example, winter vs summer automation, and date ranges for when the automation is activated (rather than just day settings).

  • Automation is great

    Love the automation feature, so handy to set a high backup reserve to cover evening cooking & night time use, then set a lower the reserve before the next solar recharge cycle.

    Stumbled on this app. It has saved me a lot of pain trying to learn how to do this myself. Lots of options and information, it helps me get the full potential from my Tesla Powerwall 2. Thank you.

  • Very Nice

    This app is way better than the Tesla app. I am looking forward to playing with scheduling the power wall. I thought I saw an integration with Emporia Vue but can’t seem to find it in the app.
