  • Garbage!

    Can’t even log in. Says it needs to restart so I restart it and it does the same again. Useless.
  • It’s like the app isn’t even finished

    Used Hertz 24/7 multiple times previously. Great app, great idea, great pricing. All in all worked well. Then they “upgraded” and now the entire thing is shot…app didn’t work with unlocking the car, nothing worked. The app itself wouldn’t even connect to the internet which I think was half the problem despite full signal. Oh well

    Customer service pleasant and as helpful as possible but no helping an app which hasn’t even named the buttons on the app properly.

  • Terrible app…even worse customer service

    Whenever I deal with a product or company that operates this poorly, I look forward to reading about their inevitable collapse. A company simply can’t operate in a way like this and survive. Application is barely functional and their customer services doesn’t respond. Awful company and one to completely avoid. I will be in future.

  • Everything is fine

    …. once you have the right app, and have validated your account. Took a good few attempts over days, but once your up and running it’s about 5mins at the start and 5 at the end to fully complete the hire. Your phone is your key so don’t leave it in the vehicle. It will take a week to fully get registered.

  • Avoid at all cost

    All the reviews are correct. 2 days before the booking my van location was changed to another one 30 min further location. I have received a message 15 min before the booking that the van is not available. They couldn’t find any alternative in London!? I end up booking a zip van. They need to remove the app and evaluate their business and 24/7 service!

  • Surprisingly good

    Used the previous app which was really good. Read some of the other reviews and feared the worst. I had 0 issues at all with the app, maybe they’ve been working on updating the app and have recently updated it but I had a good experience with it 👍🏻
  • Whole experience terrible

    Booked for half 3 but email confirmation and app said half 4. When setting up registration please note you need both your driving license and passport (had to go home to get my passport).

    The map on the app to find the van is not great. The biggest problem was when we got to the location the van wasn’t there despite the app saying it was available an hour earlier.

    Phoned customer support which is a pretty painful experience. Agent is unhelpful and speaks down t you. They asked is to triple check we were in the right place to then confirm the van was still out but they were not sure where. Support seemed unsure on when the van was booked stating we had to return it an hour later than the app said.

    They then asked us to go on the website to try and find another van and would not assist in doing this there end.

    We asked to cancel. They refused to send an email confirming that we would get a full refund as they did not have a “template” for this.

  • Awful app

    I have used hertz for 7 years and the old system was absolutely fine never had a problem. Must of used it over 20 times never a problem.

    I have no used it twice since this new system. The first time the van would not unlock and spent 45 minutes on the phone whilst hertz couldnt manually unlock it over the phone either.

    2nd use of the new system I booked it for 8:15am and had email confirmation. Come my booking I had no email to say which van was mine there was 3. The app didnt show which van either and kept saying connectivity issues when I had 5G. I called at 8am to sit there for 1 hour on hold for the lady to not be able to get me into the van either!

    This new system is always! Even had a member of staff say they hadnt had training on this new system either! Why launch a system your staff havent had training on!!

  • Doesn’t Work - Zero Stars

    Must be my worst ever app / phone experience. Booked a van, turned up and couldn’t get it to activate. After an hour on the phone the lady gave up and booked me another one miles away. When I got to the second one, another guy was trying to take the same van. A 3rd chap was trying to take another van at the same location and while I was there he simply gave up and left.
    My call took 25 minutes to get an answer, not much use on a ‘rent by the hour’ system!
    Now the app won’t even send me a text to validate my login so I can’t do anything else at all now.
    3 hours to get nowhere but they still have 2 x my rental fee out of my bank account.
    Shambles, farce, joke… I definitely won’t use this app again (or Hertz 24/7!)

  • New app absolutely full of bugs

    How was this software ever released to the App Store? Seriously, when an app depends on location services, just detect its state and pop over the correct dialogue. What do you do? Throw error after error saying “error, error not found”. Followed by bad token warnings - I could go on and on. What a waste of my time. This must never have been beta tested. Come on guys - these types of issues were solved a decade ago.
