Was recommended to the Hertz service by a friend, however my experience has been anything but good.
Wasted a day as the van booked the 1st day was either the wrong one or the app did not function correctly.
Had to abort at the end and also cancel two other visits that was tied in with the booking.
Rebooked the next day, started off much more promising, unfortunately the person before me ran late due to issues getting the van going, managed to book another van onsite but this one seemed to have a bad battery.
Eventually the van I was supposed to have returned, and then had issues trying to get the original van booked again.
Managed to do that eventually.
Unfortunately, something that was supposed to be a fairly quick job one one day turned into a two day nightmare.
During the several calls much mention about the “new app” was made.
Do still think it is a good concept, if it works properly, and can’t help to get the impression some of it is due to the new app, have not booked a van usong the old app so cannot really compare.
