  • BEST MINECRAFT SKIN CREATOR!!!

It’s THE BESSST! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fun Minecraft skins!
  • It’s new & it’s great!

Seriously in love with this skin creator! Only just noticed the background changes during the day time! So cool!!’
  • Lots of cool Minecraft skins!

Really cool Minecraft skins on here and I like making my own ones too.
  • The good and bad’s

So first lets start out with the good

    (1) One thing I like is that unlike skinseed (which is my main MC skin maker) is that a skin gets posted right away. But there is a problem with that. And that problem is that posting it right away with no moderation means in the future there could be some inappropriate skins.

    (2) The notification system is pretty good

Now lets get to the bad’s

    (1) The problem with the skin editor is that you can’t tap and add pixel it always has to be in a line.

    (2) the skin editor is REALLY weird

So anyways thats all I would recommend this as a secondary MC skin app. And maybe have skinseed as your primary but its up to you. But anyways I would give this a 4/10

  • Bare minimum with rude staff

Skincraft is not even at the bare minimum of Minecraft skin apps. The creator is so hard to use, the only way you can upload your skins is by importing from a different app. It took the staff days from its official launch—and an incredible amount of begging—to add skin importation, a color palette so you can work with more than one color at once, bios to your profile and change your username, and make the app a lot less laggy. The accounts and skin editor are connected to your Apple ID, which makes it so you can’t log in/out of your accounts, the editor is just the apple marker, and the app is unavailable to Android users. When requesting the app on Android, you’re just told “it might be time to switch to iOS,” and suggested to purchase an iPhone just to use the app. Seems pretty unprofessional. The staff are incompetent at best. They hosted a discord server for their app to interact with users and take suggestions. They took the suggestions, and then outright banned the users when the littlest inconvenience occurred. This is done under the premise of “keeping at app safe for children,” when Discord doesn’t allow children. You will be outright banned for disagreeing with their moderation methods, or mentioning causally in passing “I like men” or something. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend you get this app. The staff are incompetent and despite a claimed 15+ years of development, have the skills of a two year old.

  • Amazing skin creator!

This is an amazing app for Minecraft skins. Addicted!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰⭐️⭐️
  • App isn't even at the bare minimum

The app at this stage is not prepared for release, nor is it made to accommodate the users' common demands for every MC skin-editor program.

The skin display is atrocious. In the gallery of new, popular, and personal library, you only see the front of the skins. This is terrible for catching the attention of potential fans; the front and back are the largest surface-areas on the skin, so naturally both sides should be a whole thumbnail. The 3D display has the strangest perspective too. As for the editor, there are three tools to use: the brush, eraser, and palette (color creator). There's no color pick tool, which means you will have to rely heavily on hex codes for every color you use. As for the clothes layer, you have to guess the placement of your pixels. The size of the canvas doesn't help, since it's just a big rectangle, not an actual silhouette. You can draw outside of the skin's shape. Trying to select an individual part of the skin is tedious; you get a long list including the clothes layer for every part of the skin. This is all extremely confusing, frustrating, and cluttered. I fumbled a lot with it, I ended up only finishing the front of the skin (with the template not being easy to clear along with a clothes layer).

The community aspect they advertised is blatantly "inspired" off of existing skin editor & social apps (Skinseed, Instagram) and it hasn't gone anywhere yet, likely due to how difficult it is to even make a nice post with the in-app editor. Artists make these types of communties thrive, and the editor being so barebones discourages any effort they want to put in along with their work process. It's somehow tedious to make a single skin.

TL;DR: The app wasn't made with the users' interests in mind, very barebones and likely intended to pick up the dying MC skin communities for a quick cashgrab (fun fact, iOS app developers are paid per download. There is no Android release right now). I don't think I'll redownload after this experience.
