  • I dislike it, and will continue to use Gacha club.

Now, there ARE reasons why I dislike it, and I’ll list them.
First of all, the eye outlines are way too thick and it makes my character’s look very weird. Second of all, I do not like how the entirety of the app is vertical, that makes it incredibly hard to create stories. I also dislike the new hair highlight and eye highlight system, I feel they’re kind of hard to navigate and they’ve removed most of the good highlights for hair. Some thing I DO like about it, however, are the new accessories and icons. Other than that, I think the app is overall not as good as Gacha club.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Beside the fact that I have to flip my iPad upside down so play because the screen rotation isn’t matching with mine, this app is amazing! I’ve been a Gacha fan since Gacha studio came out, and I’m so hyped to see that we’ve gotten more Gacha dress up games! The features are awsome! I can’t wait to see more of the features as soon as Luni (the creator) fully finishes the “coming soon” buttons! Everything is smooth, and great for tweening! But I’m a bit sad from the lack of clothes, other than head and face accessories.

  • Very nice!

Positive: this is absolutely cute and nice! I love how you did and made it! Although it’s confusing I think I will get used to it if I use it more! I like how there’s a lot of slots just like gacha club. It’s pretty much kind of the same as gacha club the same clothes, the same eyes but I’m sure you’ll add more in the future since I’ve seen most features will come in soon! The poses are a bit ok it isn’t as bad but kinda wished it was like gacha life and club! I like how you added more to the face accesories! Such as the gloom (the face face) :: Overall I like it and it’s very nice! Can’t wait to see what you have next in the next update!

Negative-ish?: almost nothing but the eyes, I feel like the eyes shouldn’t be as thick it feels like you added bold/thick to the eyes (did) but I just wish it was not as thick and was like kinda like gacha club & life overall it’s good! It’s cute, Chibi and super adorable!

Can’t wait for the next other updates! (*^ω^*)

  • Has potential

I’m very happy that there’s finally a new gacha game I’m very grateful for all the hard work Luni and everyone else who worked on this game put in. I love the improved that were made from the older games but this game is very difficult to figure out how to use. There is also a lot of bugs as the game is brand new (such as if you switch it to landscape mode a lot of things stay portrait mode). It’s difficult to find where the assets are, it’s hard to tap colors, and there’s very few backgrounds. I’m not sure what will be added in future updates but I’m hoping these bugs get fixed and it gets easier to use.

TLDR: great improvements but hard to find things and use them, also has bugs

  • I love it!

I use gacha club and life a lot, and when gacha life 2 came out I practically started screaming with joy. The adjusting system is much better and I love the new accessories. Though I noticed that the game will be in portrait mode even if I make it into landscape mode. The screenshots I take are always on the side. And also, when I get an advertisement it would bug out my screen. Other than those small issues, gacha life 2 is wonderful and I’m exited to see all the content that can be made with it.

  • I love it! It’s a bit glitchy on the iPad though

There’s a few glitches but nothing game breaking, Its probably just cause I’m using my iPad, that will probably be fixed soon, but in case the devs aren’t aware, there’s a few glitches on the iPad where the screen is turned the wrong direction, screenshots are sideways, and going into an ad bugs the screen so it’s zoomed in by a lot and you can’t enter studio or use certain buttons

And using Landscape mode also bugs the screen to where it’s zoomed in to much, + updating a pose in studio doesn’t switch you to the pose you’re attempting to edit, but that may be a creative choice, idk

Anyway! Besides that! I love the game and all the extra options and new things I can use! It’s gonna be a lot of fun to play! Since it’s day one, bugs are inevitable, so I won’t complain, only inform the devs so it can be fixed in the future

  • IM AM SO HAPPY

Okay, so this game is AWSOME. All I really want to change is fix some bugs and stuff. Also isn’t it so cool I got to be the first to review this??? So one, when you change the game to landscape mode, it’s still in portrait mode. Like, it changes the game and stuff, but every thing else is in portrait mode? Also, when I move a sorry I can’t spell it, but the thing that grows bigger when it’s dark and smaller when it’s bright, when you use free move, only one of them moves. Also rotating body parts only move that body part. Like when you move the arm the hand doesn’t rotate with it? But anyways this game is so cool!

  • No diversity in hair type

I’ve always loved gacha life and I was super excited to finally jump on the creative bandwagon when I heard there was a new app out, but as I searched through their extensive catalog of hair shapes I found a lack of ones that matched my own.
I am a black girl with very thick curls. There are very few hairstyles that include curls at all that could replicate my own. I searched for locs, box braids, afros, anything that could resemble the hair that I know and love and came up empty.

I really love this game, and want to enjoy it as much as anyone else, but I simply cannot if I cannot see myself reflected in the characters. There is so much diversity and culture in our hairstyles and with how popular gacha life has been, it’s time for it to grow to reflect that. Black hairstyles are not boring and they never have been.

  • Everything is great... Except...

I have been a gacha user for many years now, and this release (in my opinion) is the greatest one! But there is one thing that has been happening a LOT recently with the game. Thankfully, there is not many ads, but when there is an ad and it's over it get to a smaller screen. Let me just describe it. There is two sides, and they're both white but then there's the actual game. Yes it is playable BUT most of the options disappear, so there's not much to do. Every time this happens I have to repetivly restart my phone. I don't wanna have to do that. But overall, amazing app I really love the fact that you can customize your own poses and adjust everything! One suggestion is that you should remove items that people might make gacha heat with but other than everything I've said this is an AMAZING app, and I highly suggest installing it!

  • Luni really outdid himself

This has got to be the best gacha life game ever, the shading is perfect and the color slider and posing system are phenomenal! Nothing could ever possibly bring this down to anything but a five. With some of the options blocked off and coming soon makes me more ecstatic to see what else this team has in store. Luni really feels like a person and a team collaboration more than a company, my only and ONLY! Slight complaint is the lack of the ability to make character cards, back in the older games they could add sections such as favorite foods or occupations, this really made me feel connected to my characters even if the options were limited. But truly Luni outdid himself for everything in gacha life 2, this is the almighty successor to all of the past games.
