The new app is absolutely useless.

Not sure why they “upgraded” to an app that is absolutely useless.

Used closeKinit over a year absolutely loved my provider. I ended up in the ER and the new app came out. They are still my PCP. But when I scheduled none of my messages seems to go to someone in the week I had to wait for an appointment to get medications to help with some side affects of the meds I was on.

When you schedule you can’t see the time in the new app. You can’t see the appointment at all they sent me in an email link.

Then the PCP sent me to a specialist, because I have a borderline emergency situation, and they didn’t write a proper referral. And when I messaged, it no longer goes to your provider. And I was told to “figure that out with your insurance.”

Seriously? So I am probably gonna have to switch PCP’s yet again, during a health crisis, because their app is useless and there is no way to contact a provider or a person who knows the absolute basics of healthcare?

So friggin annoying.

Notifications

I just downloaded this updated app. You cannot turn on notifications as the app doesn’t even show up under installed apps under your iPhones setting <notifications <CloseKnit app should appear on the list but it’s MIA!!! I have missed messages and appointments because there is absolutely no sound/vibration/alert message nothing to activate to remind you or alert you like every other app has to pick how you’re notified! PLEASE FIX THIS. Yes I have tried to delete and reinstall.. does nothing!

Horrible

Horrible app and company, it does not work half the time. Then when it does work you can’t add photos. They tell you your appointment is ready before the doctor even joins the call, then you sit and wait for over an hour for someone that never shows up. Lastly, when you call to cancel the appointment where no one shows up, they can’t even do that. So you’re better off getting an in person appointment.

Not at all satisfied with the level of care I received from this new app. Absolutely horrible

I wasn’t able to use the month of sick time I had saved up toward FMLA because they took so long to respond to my requests for a letter of medical necessity. All for them to tell me they would not be able to provide one and I needed to work with a specialist (the PCP I was seeing regarding my issue on the app they just discontinued this month agreed to help me with my application). My company wipes out sick time on the first day of the fiscal year 10/1. Now I’ll have to use paid family leave the entire time instead of just one of the two months as I originally planned. So the entire time I’ll be receiving less pay in addition to the fact that it should have started weeks ago. I just got it submitted a week ago. And the app itself constantly crashes, there’s no chat feature, the online tech is doesn’t work. They send you messages and can’t even read them. When you set an urgent care appointment it will tell you to start the appointment and then you just sit there for an hour an no one shows up. Exit out and go back in to the appointment and it tells you you missed the appointment and it was cancelled. Then you have to schedule another appointment.

Massive Downgrade from Old App

The chat feature was removed from the home page, making prescription refills a major pain. I used to be able to refill them with a text, now I’m forced to use Urgent Care just to talk to someone the same day.

Customer service is horrendous

I have used CloseKnit for a few months now. As of this week, they’re switching applications which I’m assuming that means also switching companies? The old app has significantly more functionality than the new app. The new app/new people (this app) have not responded to my request for medical help in over a week. When I try to click links to get help, I get redirected to “OOPS. This is an invalid page.” Extremely frustrating when all I want is a refill on the medication that I will need two days from now.

Forced to use a worse version of the app.

I’ve had a great experience with the old version, but was forced to switch to this new version and all I need is a refill. Normally I’d just use chat and ask for one, but apparently there is no chat. The only option I have is to make an appointment losing my old doctor In the process, but the app doesn’t even work leaving me stuck in a loading screen…I’ll be going elsewhere.

I wish I could give 0 stars

By far the worst care I’ve ever received, not one to talk to, no one answering questions. Waited 30 minutes for a virtual appointment that was scheduled over a week ago

Made a new app with worse features

I have had an overall positive experience with CloseKnit doctors/nurse practitioners. That said, this new app is garbage. There is no option to chat as there was in the original app. Making new follow-up appointments does not work. I’m not able to select the same clinician to schedule an appointment with; I don’t want to see someone new every time. Why did they make contacting support and scheduling appointments so much worse? And they don’t have a regular phone number to call your doctors office and receive timely call backs. Ridiculous.

New app issues

I was told to download the new app for scheduling an appointment but after selecting my state and reason, pressing the availability button does nothing.
