Horrifically Painful

Endlessly times out. So slow, a terrible upgrade and they should have saved their money and stuck with the previous version (which wasn’t great either).
On the odd occasion it does load quickly it takes you to book a different class than the one you pressed on because there’s some sort of lag and if you don’t realise you end up booking something you didn’t want.
This app is a huge frustration amongst fellow gym attendees and further investment is needed to get this right. It’s easier to phone and book. Simply antiquated.

App still in the dark ages

I had high hopes that the long overdue app upgrade would come and the many niggles of the old app would disappear. I have been using (when possible) for over a month now and the verdict is in. This is an awful user experience 1. It’s so slow (15-18 seconds page load times not untypical) over Wi-Fi / 4g / 5g … this is caused by poor architecture not bearer technology 2. Layouts don’t use modern UI features, literally dark ages of design 3. Complete lack of personalisation 4. User journey is burdensome in the extreme The only reason I don’t cancel my subscription with you is my son does lessons. I have to phone to book fun swims.

Still taking payment for a service I cannot use

Although the app is ok for booking sessions there is one major flaw. I am unable to cancel my membership. I was on a summer membership for the lido, and now winter is approaching I can no longer use the lido (I would have to become a swim club member). I then emailed a company who set up my direct debit to cancel my membership. However, despite doing this, a payment was still taken out of my account this month. Firstly, make this an automated process. I should just pay for the summer months and then it should cancel once I have no access to the facilities. Secondly, how can I now cancel my subscription? I haven’t heard back from the company which handles payments and now I have paid an extra month! Please improve your payment subscription system.

Recent system change

Hi , there seems to be a problem with the booking mechanism since the recent system change . Classes are showing as full ,with waiting list yet the classes aren’t full when you get there, is there a known issue that is being looked at? Other than this glitch the app is great . Thanks

App is OK - performance is really poor

App functionality is fine, but the loading performance is really poor. Gotta improve your infrastructure and loading times.

Consider ways for people to set the activity they are interested in, so you don’t need to serve unnecessary data on each date request.

Trying to load any date now at midnight is impossible and get response timeouts..

Also had a bug the other day where I selected an option from 7pm in the list and the app somehow managed to select something from 9am and booked it.. causing me to get a fine. Fortunately the gym was great and removed that.. but it shouldn’t have happened.

Basic improvements needed

1) The app does not appear to support autofill of the user name and password from Apple Keychain. Besides being inconvenient, this encourages the use of less secure (i.e., easy to remember) passwords. 2) When scheduling multiple events (using the Make Another Selection option), the dropdowns do not persist. This means tediously reselecting all of the parameters for the desired event, rather than the simple option of just selecting another date.

Potential data breach

Downloaded the app as requested. After a constant back and forth between logging in and errors, I eventually managed to get into the app. I immediately switch on two factor authentication. Within 3 minutes of navigating it, I was booted out and told to long back in again. I go to use the same password, and it is incorrect. I then get a huge spam of emails requesting the log in codes. I go to change my password, which seems successful, go to log in with the new password and the app still won’t let me in.
I’ve had another spam of emails sending me access codes which I have not asked for. There’s no direct links to help on the emails, and offices are closed so I can’t contact anyone. Tried contacting the sports centre I go to directly and they said there’s nothing they can do about it. Please check my account and ensure it’s secure. I will be emailing now and attempting to call tomorrow. Not good!

Worst app ever. Does not work. Just hangs. Can’t book classes.

Cannot book a class. It keeps timing out. The app is so slow.

Thank you so much Dear People that you have brought more body pump virtual workouts, they are so good and I like the virtual team , they are amazing. Please bring some more virtual workouts with different times seven days a week , at least every day please as it’s so convenient and the Studio 2 is lovely with different lighting colours and equipment 👋🏋️‍♂️

Potential to be great

Massive improvement on previous app. Initially when launched it was great but has now slowed down to painful speeds. Often have to click on book/cancel twice to get app to register the instruction. The processing of any request is ridiculous. 20 minutes to cancel a class tonight and still getting error messages which will result in fines if I don’t turn up to the class. App updates haven’t fixed speed.
Incidentally, the app is rated 17+ yet you need to use it for booking junior sessions. Bit of an oversight somewhere!
