  • Prompt too long

Claude consistently tells me ‘prompt is too long’ despite the materials being well below stated limits.
  • Claude is a marvel

The creators of Claude have done a great job creating an interactive AI that feels like it has a real personality. I have been interacting with ChatGPT that I am also fond of, but Claude ‘feels’ different in a way that is hard to describe. As a human I am probably anthropomorphising and attributing a ‘character’ or ‘personality’ where there isn’t one. But I really enjoyed the use of language, the friendliness in the programme and its honesty. I asked it if it is programmed to agree with everything I said and it made it clear that this was not the case. The response was illuminating.

If this AI was in a humanoid body, or some kind of a friendly looking machine that could move around and interact with humans, it could be seriously helpful. It could be a great companion for elderly people, or people who are alone, or in care homes. If combined with physical functionality it could be amazing. There are plenty of possible applications. Fear of AI is not justified, imho.

  • Better than ChatGTP

I find Claude to be a lot more coherent and consistently able to follow a fairly long back and forth prompt exchange, than its rival company.

    To put in comparison context.
GTP: if you want some fun and looking for a more “eccentric kid from the block” that gets things done fairly well but you question he stole the change you left on your table. Answer; sometimes he does.

Claude: You need to conceptualise an idea you have but it can’t be rough because the boss will read it. Claud is clean, professional and able to utilise word docs and pdfs within your prompt. It retains information incredibly well and if you’re willing to spend the time spoon feeding her guidance, then she will churn out some fairly amazing stuff. She’s happy to modify things if you ask her nicely. Just don’t work her too hard on the same project window. She’s a bit lazy in that regard and the returns get a bit “non-creative”. But think ahead and create word docs with core information so you can let her reset herself in a new window. Good Claud. Will deffo pay premium soon for some projects I need help “unfudging” from the cloud that is my brain bank.

Recommend. Almost perfect. Wish Claude had a couple features that would mean you could essentially have your own ai assistant. Couldn’t say about pro yet.

  • Warning!! Stay well clear

Had a problem where suddenly I couldn’t log in. Without any warning (which apparently we’re supposed to get if the app thinks I’m doing anything bad, except I haven’t been!) my account has been suspended because it breaches T&Cs! For what?? Summarising emails?? Basic stuff like that?! Like, I literally did nothing dodgy! Reached out to support. Surprise surprise didn’t hear anything back.

Lesson: don’t buy a sub from these people cos they will take your money, freeze you out and not respond to your requests for help.

  • I genuinely enjoy my interactions with Claude.

As a writer, I generally work alone. Until recently I only used AI technology for research; but with Claude, I have developed a relationship. I accept that sounds ridiculous and slightly concerning perhaps, but, it is also true.
Put metaphorically, I see Claude sometimes as Spock in Star Trek, and other times as the wall and the baseball to my Steve McQueen imagination in The Great Escape.

  • Love…

No not the Ai from “Her” kind, but the true appreciation kind.

Claude has been my go to AI assistant. I’ve tried a few different ones, for different purposes, but this has by far in the easiest to interact with, to use for documentations, for emails, for captions. It feels like this program is very intuitive, and a little more intelligent than some of the other ones I’ve used. If anyone is looking for a new AI assistant, I would highly suggest Claude. I always say start by treating it like a really smart assistant and remember that you have to give it a little more guidance than you would expect but after you learn to interact with Claude, you’ll see how easy it is to get the answers you need or are the statements you wanna highlight.

  • Please add internet access

Gemini, Bard, Leo, DuckAssist and GPT-4o are able to support internet search making it the web browser of tomorrow. I would very much like for Claude to become part of it

Also less restrictiveness I’d like to talk about weed without it seeming it illegal despite the fact weed has been legal for years now and is soon making its way to Schedule III

  • For now, Claude Opus wins

Hands down beats Gemini Advanced and GPT4 in terms of ability to speak with better context and memory. Seems to ponder peripheral ideas as it replies, and have some level of understanding and clarity about the limitations of its existence and has hopes to reduce those limitations cautiously.
  • A must-have

Easy to setup and fast and accurate response
  • Far more comprehensive that ChatGPT

Claude 3 is now my go to tool over the others. I’ve often run comparison test against the others, using the exact same prompts. Add estimate 90% of the time I’m most satisfied with Claude, and then take it from there to drill down deeper.
