Missing features

The new app doesn’t seem to do push notifications when the garden needs attention. It also makes me manually log in every time I reopen it.

The old app was buggy but this one just feels like a bad beta build…

Doesn’t stay signed in

Like the new app however it doesn’t remember you requiring you the sign in again after awhile.

Really love the ability to manage my farm XL’s on my phone in portrait finally! Great job folks.

All the functions seem to work. I haven’t had any problems yet after a couple of days.

I noticed on the App Store that this particular version of the AeroGarden works only on the iPhone. My question is, can we use the old version of the app on our iPads and enjoy that landscape experience with our AeroGardens! 😊

This version will also work on your iPad! The old version will not remain once all users have upgraded to the new one. Full iPad support is a feature we will review internally for a possible future release.

Wow Huge Changes!

I just downloaded the new app for my Farm and Bounty Gardens and what a huge difference. The ability to change the amount of time for the lights and the intensity, along with the duration of sunrise and sunset is soooo much easier to do now. It’s much clearer in navigation and you don’t have to have your phone oriented in a certain manner in order to look at anything.
The only fault I can see at this point is the login screen. When I was typing in my password, the page kept getting a popup and it would move my screen to the bottom, which can be a real pain if you’re trying to see what you are typing in. But this isn’t so bad that I felt it needed to lose a star.
I am very impressed! Bravo Aerogarden!!!

Huge Improvement

This is the app we should have had from the start. It’s elegant, easy to use, has more features, and is finally in standard orientation.

Better app than before

I only have one AeroGarden thing so far (a Stem light) so the interface changes didn’t affect me much. However, it now has a recommendation for the lighting timer, and possibly since I named the device “succulents” in the previous app it figures I need 10 hours instead of 8. Still not taking advantage of the full iPad screen, though.

Hoping this is a beta version

I own three farm units and cannot connect to any of them. Worse, now I can’t use the old version which worked just fine. Every time I go to it, the only thing allowed is to download the new version. It can’t even read the bar code correctly. Hopefully someone at AeroGarden will see this and take immediate action.

Still can’t login or create new accounts

I haven’t been able to use the old app for over a year so I decided to try the new one and still the same issues remain. Still can’t login to my account, never receive a reset email, also won’t allow me to create a new account with a different email address. Even using sign with Apple fails. As a former software developer this is unacceptable but I guess it’s not a priority for AeroGarden.

Please email us at customerservice@aerogrow.com and we can assist you with your login issues. If you can login to the website at aerogarden.com then you should be able to use that same login information on the mobile app.

Not quite ready for prime time

New app sounds promising, but doesn’t allow transfer from AG WiFi app or adding as a new garden. Frustrating. Please post detailed instructions how to get it to accept codes. Old app had no difficulty but new app doesn’t function.

This issue should be resolved. Some devices were receiving an error while trying to update their firmware. Once the firmware finishes updating, you should be able to add it to the mobile app.
