I paid for a backpack just to loose it when I die, personally I feel like if you spend irl money on an item you should get to keep it

Hello, Michael. We are sorry to hear about your experience! If your Epic Ape dies in a temporary area, items you have with you will be lost, so it's better to start such tasks fully prepared and be ready to escape as a last resort. In regular districts, you have a chance to retrieve at least some items before someone else grabs them.

Lags and disconnects

Which leads to not healing on time when fighting dragon gang event which leads to death and loss of high end gear. Really wanted to love the iOS version but spending real cash and then losing it immediately due to unstable connection even though I have 3-4 bars on a iPhone 13 is wild. And to the dev 5 bars on lte and 5g still lags when trying to pop a pain killer or med kit on iOS 18+ WiFi or without still the same the fact of the matter is that the ping on America server is like 120 plus 90 on a good day. Give us the option to respawn at any time rather than that hour buff time. Have lost 4 monster bags and honestly sick of this lag bullshi*

There is a chance to retrieve it on regular locations, while the body will disappear right away in time-limited events. It's recommended to choose the equipment, keeping the risks in mind. Hi there. We are really sorry to hear about your experience. To get rid of lags, please, try switching the graphics to low settings and closing all background processes before launching the game. Changing the connection type and access point might also help. Our team hopes Epic Apes will bring you more positive emotions in the future!

Good so far

Hey! Remember me? I’ve been playing this game for a good amount of time and I have to say, this bears a striking resemblance to another certain game… a certain game I lost my account on and had ZERO help with getting back… maybe you’ve heard of this game? It’s considerably old and looks great, except it pretty much went up and hit a brick wall for some reason even though it had much potential… if someone were to ask me if I would just forget about my lost account since it’s on a old and abandoned CERTAIN game, I’d tell them “Not a chance”
