The story is just a replay of the (bad) Northern War anime. The gameplay is not good. The whole thing is Machine Translated. Absolutely no love or care went into this game. I am very disappointed that the west never got Akatsuki No Kiseki that had an actual plot and story but instead we get....this. Cheesecake costumes are also outrageously expensive if that's your thing.Show lessdeliberately empty
Love the series but poor translation
Translation is awful with people getting wrong game title like Claire the Ice Maiden getting Zero Artisan! If you love trails of and want to kill some time, this is great but do not spend money on this.Holisk

Just like many games based off of established ips, this game is really only worth playing if you love Trails of Cold Steel, and ever then probably not. The English translation is not great, the graphics are serviceable at best, and the combat is the same thing you have seen in a hundred other idle games. Also the game doesn’t even seem to work correctly as I got a notification that I unlocked arena but whenever I try to go there it says the content is unavailable.
The story is pretty bland through 3 chapters, and it follows a new protagonist, so it’s not even like the characters you know and love are here.
Also, the monetization is awful. There are 3 battle passes at launch, and there is an infinite reroll that lets you get whatever character you want (which is free in pretty much every game I have ever seen it in) but it costs $21 here. $21 for a 10 pull is pretty pricey.
Even as a huge Trails of Cold Steel fan I doubt I will keep playing this for more than a week, and if I do it will be at the most casual f2p level.Show lessfriob
