SpoonMe celebrates the joy of food and community while helping you to eat intentionally. Share your favorite new meal with your friend and attach the in-app recipe directly to your post. Scan that family recipe and store it with SpoonMe. Eat intentionally by tracking your meals visually with our photo Food Journal, and follow friends, foodies, or loved ones to know what they are whipping up these days in their kitchen. SpoonMe makes being intentional about food easy, treating it as a celebration and not like a weight loss admin tool.
SpoonMe will save you time and help you connect with your people by:
- Sharing your food discoveries with people who love seeing the new meals you have discovered, whether they be friends, a nutritionist or personal trainer, a food specific community, or the general SpoonMe community
- Letting you track the food you eat visually with a photo Food Journal, so you can intuitively eat and be mindful about your food choices so you can eat more of the food you love.
- Recipe import and storage with Cookbooks. You can enter a website link to save you 95% of the time of entering recipes. Or scan an old recipe index card your grandma wrote and automatically import the recipe. Your friends can see your recipes as well, if you let them. Organize your recipes into Cookbooks

What's New in Food Journal
+1
1.1.6
January 2, 2025
ONE OF OUR BIGGEST UPDATES at SpoonMe!
- Streaks and complete days: Track your progress in your food journal with Streaks (how many days you have logged consecutively) and with "Complete days." This lets you put the stamp on the saying saying "this is all I ate, it's a complete picture."
- Recipe Improvements:
- Color coordinated ingredients that match the instruction step. See all your ingredients as you cook your recipe with color matching to quickly see what you need
- Voice commands to navigate through your recipe instructions if your hands are covered in food and you can't touch your phone at the moment
- Improved Recipe import. Import from other places where recipes are commonly posted to get your recipe into SpoonMe to make cooking meals a far easier process
My favorite thing is the color coded steps. Each step number is a different color - but it made me want a feature that should be obvious! Color coded the ingredients too! Color them based on what step they are to be used in! Additionally, I wish we could SORT ingredients by wet/dry, by amount/weight and by order of when you use them.

Response from developer
Thank you so much for the review Dan79. This is the founder of SpoonMe, Matt. We were working on color coordinating the ingredients just yesterday! Great timing to bring it up. We should be shipping it in our next update, so pay attention when you see SpoonMe has been updated. We are making some other great changes as well for making cooking a pleasant experience with your recipes in SpoonMe. We have some other features and improvements that are moving forward before we do any ingredient sorting, but that's a great recommendation as well. We appreciate you using the app and joining our community. Thanks for the review!
