Reviews of Food Journal

Promising app!

This is a really fantastic app that is part food tracking, part social interacting. It’s still in its early development, so there are a lot of features that are being updated or created. But it’s looking like this app could be a one-stop shop for all your technological food needs!

I’m a long-term calorie counter, and I love that you can add in a manual amount of calories on this app, and, of course, the bar code scanner! And I’ve enjoyed the social part of the app a lot more than I thought I would. Once this app is fully developed with all the planned features, this food networking aspect will be a game changer! I’m excited about having shared family cookbooks 😊

I just have a one request for the developers. Can you switch the emphasis on the calorie counting tool so that the amount of calories remaining is the main number? That’s the number we care about the most! Thanks

Life Changing

I have struggled with meal prep and recipe organization for SO long. SpoonMe! Has made my life easier, my cooking more delicious, my shopping streamlined, and my wallet fatter.

I’m not wasting time wondering what to eat, trying to find that one recipe I really liked but made a year ago and now can’t find. SpoonMe! Has all my favorite recipes in one place.

I waste less time on shopping, decision fatigue, and trying to find the perfect recipe. I’m also wasting less food and money because I know exactly how much I need to make my next culinary masterpiece without the waste.

Seriously, this app has changed my life. It’s changed my approach to food and saved me SO many hours. Try it.

Finally, a food app that focuses on community

I primarily use Instagram to save food recipes and search for new meal ideas. I love that there are so many people on the app, that it’s not optimized for food organization and meal planning. I love that the entire focus of this app is just that. It’s still early in several features that I’d love to see improved, but I love the community focus.
