I am so addicted to this game since playing it on PC! So I decided to check it out on mobile.
For the most part, the experience is the same between PC and mobile, save for some glitches and quality of life needs. One being the action button is relatively small, I end up missing it a lot when ringing up customers. I recently ran into a pretty big glitch; I hired a cashier and purchased a mirrored cash register, and now I can’t process any card transactions. The buttons on the card reader don’t respond. I’ve tried closing the app and reopening, it’s unfixable. I will try purchasing a non-mirrored register and see if it works then.
The ads are annoying with how frequent they are, but not really a big deal. The WORST part about the ads is that the game is still running behind them, and since this game is very time sensitive, this is detrimental. I will have one person waiting to be checked out, I go to check them out, and an ad plays. When I’m out of the unskippable ad, there’s now a queue of 4 people waiting. I really wouldn’t mind the ads so much since this is a free game, but the game should pause while the ads play at least.
Another note is this is an older version of the game: the updated PC version allows purchasing shelves and fridges in different colors, I miss that. I do appreciate the new character models, it really makes the NPC’s feel fresher.
Hoping the bugs get fixed and we get an updated version soon!
