## What is 64sq?

Four classic games, one beautiful board.

64sq brings chess, Friendly Fire Chess, checkers and Othello together in one calm app made for real games with real people.

TABLE MODE
Put a tablet or phone flat on the table and play face to face. Each player's pieces, clock and buttons face them, so nobody reads the board upside down. It's the closest thing to a real board, without losing pieces under the couch.

PLAY YOUR WAY
- Pass and play on one device
- Practice against bots, from gentle to tough
- Online: rated matchmaking, or invite a friend with a code or QR, with the same account and ratings as 64sq.cc

FRIENDLY FIRE CHESS
Our own twist: every few moves you must capture one of your own pieces. Sacrifice wisely. It turns every game into a puzzle.

MAKE IT YOURS
Pick a look and a sound pack for each game:
- Classic and Daylight are free
- Retro: pixel-art arcade pieces and chiptune
- Sci-fi and Marble
- Gilded: gold leaf, ivory, onyx and black lacquer
- Sage Garden: botanical pieces, a planter tray for your captures, and its own garden sounds

Themes are cosmetic only. Nobody can buy a better chance to win.

FAIR AND SIMPLE
- Remove ads forever with a single purchase
- No subscriptions, no energy timers, no loot boxes
- Your purchases follow your 64sq.cc account

Made by an independent studio that loves board games. Questions or ideas: support@64sq.cc

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-28

Cleanup!

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-28

Three premium themes join the shop. Midnight Noir brings brushed-steel and gunmetal pieces to a neon-lit night street. Celestial sets starlit pieces on a deep-space board. Sage Garden is a greenhouse at golden hour. Each one dresses the whole set, with its own frame, a living clock and a captured-pieces tray, plus a flourish when you take a piece. Pick a look and we will ask if you want it on every game and board. The shop now shows the real art bigger, so you can see a theme before you pick it.
