Pretty good app

This app is 90% of what I need. It really does help you learn the fretboard. I like being able to choose any combination of notes and strings. I actually think that’s a must-have. I can choose to learn all the natural notes on a single string, add the sharps and flats, choose the cluster method (find BC and EF clusters), or focus on a specific note e.g. all the ‘A’ notes. For the price, that’s perfect.

The one thing i do not like at all is how the notes drop down from the top. For one or two strings, that’s ok. but for 3-6 strings, it is extremely distracting. I find myself spending more time looking at the app and trying to see what note on what string i’m supposed to play. If this ‘game mode’ could be turned off, that would be great. In other words, if there was an option to just show the note name and string to play it on, then it would be perfect.

Easy and intuitive

I like how I can pick it up at any point and use it for a session or two, easy to start and stop. I can tell it’s really helping with those note names.

Helpful tool for all levels of guitarists

I can definitely see myself using this help fill in the gaps in my knowledge of the fretboard, seems like it can help a lot with improvisation. The menus and interface are nice and simple, easy to navigate. The speed adjustment feature can make this a great challenge for more advanced players. Also the ability to switch between flats and sharps is great.

Fantastic App!

I’ll have to admit - the app didn’t install correctly and had to reinstall it 5 times (no exaggeration)… but it works great!!
