  • It is great...and just ok.

    It is a bit clunky, but lots of great info.
    The one thing I have an issue with is the synaxerion. I LOVE IT, but seleting the date is a pain because the selector always goes back to January 1. It would be nice if it automatically selected the current date or, at least, the last date you selected. Other than that, I really enjoy it.

  • Great Orthodox app

    I’m very thankful that Patristic Nectar came out with this app. I had downloaded the catechism program earlier and I think that it’s great that they are providing so much free material for orthodox education.

    I look forward to seeing what they add to this app. Personally I’d love to see more from the modern saints, and practical guidance in spiritual growth.

  • Nice, but sideways.

    I use iPad in horizontal mode so it can stay attached to a keyboard. When I installed the PNP app, it won't rotate and display across the screen; instead it can only be viewed with the iPad in vertical position, with the keyboard up in the air. Since all my other apps auto rotate, I don't think it's my settings. If you can fix this, or let me know how to fix it, it would be great. Kudos to Fr. Josiah, the people of St. Andrews and the entire staff of PNP for taking a faith-based rather than marketing approach. Inquirers shouldn't have to buy things just to explore the teachings of the Church. Orthodoxy is such a paradigm shift from most western religions...it can take a really long time to consider the teachings before one is even ready to go to a service or meet a priest. You have everything here in one place from the earliest Saints to the latest sermons and I look forward to exploring all the sections. Thank you so much for making it free!

  • Amazing

    This app is full of so many useful resources for those wanting more Orthodox Christian knowledge.

    Hours of content on many subjects, and the ability to download and listen wherever you are, I can’t reccomend it enough.

    I need the lectures to play while the screen is off and the phone is in my pocket. That will get you two more stars. 😉

  • Amazing app for all orthodox☦️

    I love watching Fr. Josiah Trenham and this helps me a lot. They have everything! Psalters, sacred music, lectures, theological discussions, saints, scripture, it is truly amazing! Highly recommend for everyone!☦️❤️

  • Amazing!

    I am not orthodox, only considering. However Father Josiah is one of my favorite Christian thinkers alive. I had purchased tons of these lectures before they were free. Now they are free I am donating 25$ a month. I hope everyone gives what they can because these are great lectures. It’s a great resource.

  • Glad there’s an app new - a few things

    So glad that you guys have an app. It’s very convenient. But a few things to fix, the Synaxarion should set to whatever the current calendar date is. Instead right now it’s always in January.

    There should also be a number for how long a specific mp3 is.

  • A Must Have for Orthodox Christians

    The app is excellent and allows me to download everything I need. My only note is that the synaxarion needs to be updated to allow choice by date as it was on the old website.

It has a variety of lessons entirely for free, the User Interface is great, accessible and smooth, and very straightforward. The ability to download audios is particularly useful. I love the consistent style among the entire application. Whoever designed and created it, a huge well done. I will definitely be using this app for my spiritual enrichment.
