  • I waited for the latest version... Still crashes.

The last crash took my 'save point' with it, so had to start over with new game; it crashes less often then previous versions, but it still crashes.

I don't think it handles being suspended very well... Who knows.. I may try it again in a future version but don't think anyone would enjoy playing it now.

  • Help! I'm on fire!

Really enjoyable board game. Gets more rewarding the more you play. Random nature means that some dungeons will seem horribly punishing and some you can waltz through. Worth sticking with as learning the cards and tactics for monsters really helps. It can be difficult so it's not for all but it's worth persevering. Top notch!

  • Has issues.

Great game but it has some issues... I play on the iPhone 5, some of the buttons are so small and fiddly it takes several attempts to activate them. I'd like to join in with the humour but the speech bubbles are so tiny, making them difficult to read especially with the lightning speed they appear and disappear.
I play with the music off but everytime I discover a 'Boss' the music just starts up itself, you have to then switch the music on to then switch it off, thats one of the most frustrating things to do, 37 taps of the button before I finally managed to activate/deactivate the music... I like this game, wish it worked properly though.

  • Don't buy.

Great board game rpg to it. With some difficulty to it due to you only get 3 cards which u can use to attack or cast spells and they wear out after frequent use. No worries there are plenty of baddies and treasure chests to find new ones to replace the worn out ones. It randomly crashes and u can't save your progress in a level. However if it crashes it will save the wear on your cards and health etc. You can do much past the first 2 levels due to the fact it takes longer to find the boss and the chance it will crash can happen at anytime. It's more like a race to find the boss b4 the game crashes. The game has lots of potential but is currently unplayable.

Most recent update: I hate that after u kill the boss u only get a few turns to loot b4 it all turns to lava. Especially on part 3 of a level, if u haven't found the shop yet. Plus now that I try to continue my game it crashes. Had big hopes for this game but I'm not going to wait for them to make it playable. Waste of money. Don't buy.

  • Great fun

Excellent dungeon crawler for a bargain price. Deeper than you would expect, especially since the mechanics are very simple. Has a real 'hero quest' feel, if anyone remembers the old board game
  • Fun but don't die

A fun game but inventory is upgrades is messy. My biggest issue is if you die you have to start from the VERY beginning. There is no saving, this can obviously get really annoying
  • Awesome!!!

Don't listen to the haters. This game is fantastic. The look of a board game mixed with a rogue like RPG dungeon crawler. The play of the game is great with your character moving his way through the ever appearing dungeon. You get three cards which dictate your strategy as you explore room after room attacking and defending yourself from enemies. Each card has limited powers, and as you explore and fight you decide which card to replace with any that you've recently discovered. There are hundreds of cards to discover and no two play throughs will ever be the same. Also you get to customize your warrior with various items which will help you get farther in your quest. The music is superb and you will love every minute of it. You get the whole game. No timers. No ads. No IAP. It's an absolute bargain.

  • Nice change

First off, the artwork is amazing and interface is good looking. The music is very epic, has a very much tenacious d feel to it. I knew exactly to expect a rogue like experience, with card elements. It's a fun time, for 5 minutes or a lazy afternoon.

Now to the negatives that drops it a few stars. Even with my iPad Air and all apps closed, it will still crash on me now and then. Something that a lot of people have complained about and I agree, movement when there is no hostile characters. You should have freedom to move without turns until meeting or turning a npc hostile. Otherwise a simple map can go from taking a few minutes to traverse to 10-20, especially if you want to be thorough or forget something. Better explanation of the card icons and how quickly cards can be destroyed.

Otherwise, enjoyable game and change of pace from some of the other rogue games out there. Definitely worth giving a shot!

  • Interesting mechanics

Crashes every two minutes or so on my ipad 2. Yet to clear the 3rd room in 10 attempts. A crash results in all game progress lost. Avoid until some form of save function is introduced.

    Update:
Rebooted my ipad and it hasn't crashed since. Finished the first dungeon before stumbling into 5 spell casters in the second and dying.

    Update 2:
Finished the game on my 4th attempt. Really easy until the very last dungeon where I was frantically looking for any attack card. Could be I was just lucky, by the end I had passive regeneration of 12 health per turn.

  • Awesome !!!

Very unique idea for an adventure crawler. I like the mash up of cards, rpg and board game. Super fun, very addictive. Thanks to the developers, amazing game. :-)

    Of coarse there are some
bugs, but it's pretty solid and can only get better.

Could you make a version for the Mac, just an idea. ;-)
