Disappointed
I placed an order for lunch today and noticed it was taking longer than usual. After about 45 minutes with no update I contacted customer service and was assured my order was being picked up by the driver. I waited another half hour and reached out again. They reassured me again that my order was on its way and I couldn’t get a refund since the driver had my food. After another half hour I reach out a final time and they tried telling me to wait AGAIN and I refused to wait until I at least had proof the driver was coming. They then finally told me after two hours of waiting they couldn’t contact the driver and my order was canceled. So I was being lied to and the driver was never on his way. All I wanted to know was that it was not being delivered so I could order lunch elsewhere. I’ve been using eat street for a few years now and have had too many issues like this. I am uninstalling the app

I’ve always been very patient with eatstreet and actually had good luck with their customer service being friendly and resolving any issues in the past, but they’re truly awful now. My partner and friends have always hated it, but I’d wait 2-3 hours for my food sometimes, no biggy - crap happens sometimes.
I’ve noticed the last few months it was getting worse and worse, and had ubereats people starting to deliver my orders from eatstreet which was a little odd. The terrible customer service is the final straw for me. Still waiting for an email about an order I asked them to cancel because it was outrageously late and they claimed they couldn’t cancel because my driver was suddenly on the way to pick up my gas station food (not prepared for me) I literally had to leave work before getting an order I placed half way through my shift and received no help or resolution. I even reached out to the customer service after an hour to make sure everything was all good, they said let them know in 20 mins if it still hasn’t arrived and they would “take care of it for me” they didn’t take care of anything lol. That poor driver was probably so confused. Hopefully they got to keep my stuff since I still paid for everything.

Used to be good…
This app used to be good, but recently they have been jacking up service fees and their app doesn’t even work. I can’t track my orders anymore, the app does not show or tell me where my order is, and today was the last straw. Contacted customer service an hour and 15 minutes after I ordered, they said my order would be delivered in a few minutes. Another half hour later, I contacted them AGAIN and they said the restaurant (which was now closed) never got the order. I don’t know how it was almost to my house and then it never went in. Offered a refund, but it’ll take a few days and this was an almost $100 order. No coupon codes or anything, which they used to do in the past, and their customer service person ended the chat on me. It shouldn’t have taken 2 hours and me contacting them TWICE to find out my order never went in even though they took the money out of my account, I had a confirmation number, and one of their people said it was already on the way. Absolutely ridiculous.
