  • Where is “My Collection”?

It’s great to have the ability to search listings on a handy app.

However, I have spent ages putting the details of my gear into the “My Collection” facility on the website. Surely to goodness this facility should be available on the app. This would make cataloguing a customer’s gear so much easier. It would also make listing one’s own gear for sale a piece of cake.

So I think I will stick with the browser, thanks.

  • DO NOT USE THIS SELLING PLATFORM

I’ve received threatening emails from REVERB and a person claiming to work for market place integrity Called Daron S. have tried to take payment again for services not used , all the customer service is automated or generic message service, you cannot resolve any account issues with this company, DO NOT use this selling platform, it's faceless corporate shill the artists that appear on this page should be ashamed

Update they respond with an apology of any dismissive messages , they have stated on the app site that you get through to a human after two questions , yes but they are a call centre pretty standard , scripted call centre who manage the sites customer service and actually have no knowledge on how to resolve anything

    Also

Hey Logan and Daron maybe try resolving the issue before coming with the aggression

Hi there, Apologies for the frustration—the Reverb chat will direct you to an actual human (although you may need to answer 2-3 prompts before given the option), but rest assured: a specialist will be able to answer the questions about your account. Here's a direct link to connect with a Support Agent: bit.ly/Reverb-Support Best, Reverb
  • iOS App i buggy on Iphone

I like Reverb, iOS app on iPhone 12 mini, latest OS 16.4.1 (a) os frustrating and buggy. OK for casual browsing -but to actually do stuff as a seller, maddenning. Use a browser on a desktop.

New and amended listings items do not refresh, so you think you did not save them. Capitalisation in listing titles seems to autocorrect via some sort of AI, TLR becomes Tlr... Scroll bars do not show on many pages, and there is no way to see"more..." e.g. in shop details....
Just doesn't hang together.... Some bad UAT went on pre-release... Almost as if Reverb decided to skip full UAT and get free testing done on the cheap by users.... Well, I guess it's called UAT.. kind of should have. been done prior to release.
But, it's free... irks me to put up with bugs ss i pay Reverb. Same with everyone though 'tis just the way of the world.
i still love you though Reverb - you just annoy me now snd again

  • Terrible service

This was our first time using the app. At first everything was smooth. My son told me about it and we were both excited because we were looking for band instruments a trumpet for myself and a alto saxophone for himself. We found both instruments which were in excellent condition. He purchased my trumpet first using my credit card info. He then made an offer for his saxophone which was accepted and he paid for it rig he after midnight because that’s when his new credit card offer of 0% interest started on the first of the month later that day he got a message saying the payment was pending and he needed to verify his phone number which he did. Did a chat with a agent which said everything was good and it would just take the system 24-48hrs to update. Later that night he received another message saying his account was suspended for possible fraud or being a duplicate account and that he had to respond to the email directly if he believed this was not correct. He responded to them and we are still waiting to hear back from them. There is no way to talk to a real person to find out exactly what’s going on. Mind you THEY ALREADY TOOK THE MONEY FROM HIS CREDIT CARD. The sellers have been great but we are very disappointed and frustrated with reverb.

  • You’re making a lot of money….

Hey reverb. Thank you. Thanks for being a trusted marketplace. Your Cust service has gotten much better over the past year. Thanks for nixing scams and offering protection to buyer and seller with good judgement. Thanks for putting it out there around the entire world for music fans to take advantage of quality gear. Thank you for helping me pay my bills during tough times. You’re a steady source of income and I think most of us appreciate it. Thanks for allowing us to show off our commitment to customer service and exceptional quality with your review system. It’s a great platform! That’s the good part. The not so great part is your fee for sales. It’s pretty high. I completely understand that it’s a business for you too and that’s not free. Im not going to speak for everyone but I think the sellers don’t mind chipping in to keep it going. Would you consider a tiered system of fees that encourages quick shipment and reasonably few problem transactions. Some of us really take this seriously and take pride in our positive feedback because it means something. Some of us work hard to keep the business problem free and our clients happy and excited to come back. Maybe 100 positive reviews is worth a slightly less seller fee. Maybe 300 is worth a slightly less fee. And so on. Just my two cents from a small fish in a much bigger pond. Thanks.

  • Great for musicians selling to musicians but room for improvements

Great app for buying not so great for selling.

The high selling fees has made it difficult to justify selling high value items. A synth I recently sold for £560 + postage had over £50 taken off. For this reason I’m no longer going to sell anything with a value over £50 on the site as it’s just too much. Charging the seller for fees on shipping costs as well is a bit ridiculous considering there’s no profit there at all. This is a shame as it has
plenty of great features from the price history of an item, feed thats customisable by price and condition. The news feature is cool as it shows interesting stuff about people who make music, the educational content released by reverb is also great. Super useful and ranges from learning how to record at a beginner level to more complex how-to’s.

There are a few issues with the app, they don’t make it not worth using but fixing them would improve the experience. •the search feature often misses things especially if there is a slight typo or incorrect punctuation. It also sometimes doesn’t show items that are listed. For example “Audiscape engineering Co.” doesn’t yield any results but “Audioscape bus comp” does. •web only features would be nice to have in the app •payments to sellers take around 4-7 days to come through which is a real pain. And yeah the selling fees are daylight robbery.

  • First buying experience.

I could find everything I managed to find the things that I really needed. That was great. I’d consider that five star wasn’t very difficult at all. The problem came when I went to check out. It had different credit cards up their PayPal‘s up there, and I forgot there was one more. However, it would not accept credit cards. and I had to get my wife involved to use her PayPal in order to get an order taken care of. I would suggest if you don’t take credit cards you should say that straight upfront and not give the assumption to people because credit cards are listed that you can actually use them because I couldn’t and I do not know why. And it wasn’t because I didn’t have enough on my credit card that’s for sure. But it needs to be explained up. Front before somebody buys. Thank you and have a great day.

  • 10% pedal tax to Australia NO WARNING

I confirmed a guitar pedal purchase from US to Australia and agreed to their price. Reverb added a new 10% tax AFTER i had agreed on the price, without showing it in the initial agreed total. This is a tax meant for things over $1000 aud when shipped from overseas. This addition makes basically EVERY pedal purchase on reverb more expensive than just buying it retail here. AT LEAST WARN US BEFORE WE PRESS ACCEPT. This is the 19th and FINAL pedal I ever buy on this bloodsucking site. Charges and conversion rates here were already through the roof.

  • Complete Satisfaction

Reverb should be the benchmark to all businesses, websites and professionals. Your support team is incredible. THANK YOU for being so efficient in providing such a great service
  • Great Idea & Community But App Poorly Built

The people & experience have been great. Wonderful selection that ms valuable in the music community! BUT I believe the App is poorly built. Examples: 1. If I list something on my phone, it doesn’t show up on my computer even when I’m logged in. I found that I log in from my computer, phone browser, and app. I listed 2 items one on my computer on on my phone & all 3 showed up dofferent. If I add a picture to my shop it doesn’t show up on the others. Makes it hard to keep track of items & messages. 2. Customer service. There was no number to call to resolve this product so I resorted to the chat. The agent had me collecting screenshots which I told them would take about two minutes. As soon as I had them all collected, the agent left & never helped me at all. No idea still how to resolve it. 3. Reverb advertises heavily & when you click it tries to transfer over to the app but just stalls out. PLEASE REEVALUATE THE APP. I have an iphone 13 less than a year old & this is the most poorly working app I’ve ever downloaded
