  • Satisfaction on Reverb.

I have bought two Instruments, and various items on Reverb.
In all cases, the vendors, have been absolutely spot on.
Terrific communication, and perfect description of Instruments, etc. Also packing, has been first class.
Reverb, is an excellent shop window, and my experiences, have been,
    A 1.
  • happy camper once again

this time, it was a stevie ray vaughn styled bass guitar strap for my old p bass. shopping on reverb always does the trick for me, without the need of “going to the mall,” for which i have always been too old. the variety of stuff here is unlike any i can find at any of my local music shops - which i do frequent - but as a leftie, the options are minimal, at best. with reverb, i have literally a world of local music shops, as well as countless musician’s private stashes, from which to choose.
you guys have fueled my addictions well.
thanks to all who have contributed along the way, and especially today, the folks at “new york fine vintage music instruments,” who helped me arrive at a satisfying price for this item.
it’s just what i needed. they’re now one of my favorites; you should check them out, too. if they can put a big old smile on the face of this old iowa hippie, think what they can do for YOU!!

  • Love it - with one exception

Overall a great app that I use daily.

Only complaint with iOS app is that saved searches / feed is quite clunky & unreliable; quite often saved searches in specific product sub-categories (eg Guitar parts > Tuning heads) seem to save without those sub-categories being applied at all.

    Other than this, its great.

  • Thank you!

    Reverb ROCKS!
    I live in New Zealand.
I’ve bought four collectible Gibson guitars and a brand new gretsch Catalina drum kit through REVERB, and a bunch of accessories. These have been shipped to me in New Zealand in excellent condition from all over the world- Canada, France, Sth Korea, UK etc. Thank you REVERB for the excellent service you provide.

  • Great for buyer, not so much for sellers

Great place to find instruments, even if some sellers think they have gold, while others buyer la won’t pay but dog turds for really good guitars and complain or write scathing lies, but like any public exchange, lots of scammers and rippers, but easy to filter out.
As a seller you will have many people try to scam you and keep your gear after intentionally breaking it or complaining about condition. The do it just to steal( or attempt to), and I will say reverb favors buyer a little too much on such reports. Maybe it’s because they make money on the seller, so the system is biased against buyer pretty heavy. At the least, it feels that way. I always recommend item to be listed “as is, no warrantee” and insure it. Let the shipping company deal with breaks and scratches or made up scams. That way the receiving party can be held accountable for constant claims and intentional breaks for profit.
Otherwise, if you like instruments and actually play (resellers who just collect and don’t play are the Bane of late stage capitalism and drive up prices for musicians) reverb will make your addiction absolutely the purest insatiable desire.
If you start shopping on reverb, you will have so many instruments your wife and/or girlfriend(s) will leave, while on the other side your husband and boyfriends will be forever endeared.

  • Great app…if it works

Used this for years and then all of a sudden it just stopped allowing me to log in. The so-called customer service entirely failed to resolve the issue, when they finally demonstrated that they even had understood what the problem was. The Reverb Australia team tried but also seemed to just give up. Seriously disappointing efforts all around. Won’t bother trying to use the app anymore. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone over the desktop/mobile sites.

  • App is now a cluttered mess. Who approved this?

Where to start? It seems so many successive changes to the app have made it a far less friendly and less fun user experience.
First they got rid of being able to see recently sold listings. If a listing that you recently viewed sold, now it just disappears. And since the Etsy acquisition they have successively overloaded the app with too many conflicting “sections.” Why do we need a deals and steals AND great value or recommended for you AND just listed (for you) or a feed AND an updates tab? And how useless is recently viewed products?
And now the default view for a listing doesn’t show you how long it’s been posted or how many views and it’s overloaded with information. Yuck. Who is approving all of this? It’s a visual mess. Seriously, the developers need to rethink the direction they’ve taken and streamline back to the basics that made the app such a great experience to begin with.

  • Reverb is good

Reverb has been great so far, good choice of guitars, great articles, run by nice people with good values in buying and selling
  • Bad update

Not sure if this is me not understanding. Where is the search function. Unable to find types of gear as you could in the previous version. I want to look at electric guitars but how do you do it now

    Developer Response

Hi there, Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the latest update. We’ve moved the search bar to the top of your “Home” tab and removed the old Explore page to make way for some upcoming new features. You should be able to find the search bar at the top of the page. Categories are now available when you click the search bar as suggestions below your recent searches. Hopefully this helps, and let us know if you’re still experiencing issues or having trouble finding things. Thanks!

Thank you for the new update!
