Great App
I'm new to birding and I travel alot. Didnt want to have to travel with a large field guide. My friends who are experienced Birders love it too now. We go birding together and this App has helped us tremendously in identifying the birds on sight. It's invaluable. Keeps track of which birds you've seen and you can add notes as to where, etc. The pictures are clear, beautiful and so easy to use. Many pictures have both the male and female counterparts. Don't know what I'd do without the App.

Disappointing
Great to see a Panama Birds App show up..and I purchased it as I’ve spent many months on the ground birding and photographing birds in Panama. The full version should be labeled ‘lite’ if truth be told. For example…no Rufous Vented Ground Cuckoo or Pheasant Cuckoo in the Cuckoo listings…REALLY??? Two of the most important target species for Panama.and they’re missing??? Add to that the number of missing calls/sound files that even a cursory review reveals and I must suggest you use caution in your purchase of this app.

Images for the cuckoos were added shortly after release of the first version. Since then, the app has been updated with info and range maps for more than 1000 sp, including images for 983 on the Pan list, vocs for 907 sp, and an additional 50 sp that could occur in Panama along with more detailed info about habitat, search filters for major habitats, nocturnal species and more.
