Just the best!

The best photo organiser I’ve ever used! I keep trying others but always end up going back to Hash. It’s great to be able to tag photos as well as make albums. Albums have to be sorted manually, but that's a minor irritation. I wish it was available for my Mac book!

Wow

Simply the best app for photos bar none. Since paying to access all the features I’ve deleted all other photo apps. This can’t be beaten in features and ease of use! A+

Can’t sort by file name

Brilliant app, very nice presentation. Spoiled for me by one huge flaw - can’t sort pictures by FILENAME.
Only sort options are by date or none. Either way, the order is higgledly-piggledy. Related photos with similar names are separated if edited at different times, stills from videos separated if extracted at different times, etc.
Admittedly the IOS app is no better, but this app can and should be.
5 stars well deserved once this is fixed.

Fantastic Photo Editing App.

I have a lot of old scanned photos with problem because of age. Photos with too much red or blue. Black and white photos that have faded. I tried so many apps before I found this one. It does so much and it’s easy for a novice to make color corrections, crop, and adjust the photos. Don’t waste you money like I did on apps that don’t work. This one does it and very well at that.

Not perfect but promising

1. Background suddenly changes from black to white causing eye strains, like in tag searching page.
2. Tapping on one of tags of a picture(at left bottom) cannot directly show me all pics with this tag. It just have the same function that tags icon does.
3. Tag groups can make life easier when handling a bunch of tags.

Worked great until recent updates, now crashes on opening, very annoying as paid for full version!

Really useful

It lets you adjust the date of a pic so you can change its position in the camera roll.

Cannot do the one thing I need - sync tags!!!

I hunted high and low for a photos app which could let me add tags and memos to photos using my iPhone. I thought the search was over with HashPhotos. Yeah, you can add tags in the app to the photos, BUT the sync process of the tags in the iPhone app with keywords in the MAC Photos app DOES NOT WORK! It simply does not work. Whatever tags you create in the app does NOT show up in the MAC Photos app. And vice versa. Tags in MAC photos app also does NOT show up in HashPhotos.

I read you can tag the photos then upload the photos into the MAC, but wouldn’t that be too tedious? Even so, I also read from some users that even with that method, the tags and memos don’t get exported over.

Big Fail for me!!

Hash photos is what Photos is missing

Omg, I’ve been waiting for this forever! You can see badges, like raw, for instance. Create albums directly in Photos, seek out duplicate and similar photos, and transfer photos (in original format) easily with the HashPhotos companion app for free. This app is so worth buying all extras for! Not expensive and enhances the application’s abilities! Recommend this one highly!

6 Fixes / Features Needed

Let me start by saying that I really want to like HashPhotos. Many aspects of it are quite great. But the bugs and missing features are too numerous to ignore.

1) The similar photo finder doesn’t really work. It finds some similar photos, but it completely misses many others. Kind of a key thing to get right if this is a selling point of this app.

2) Needs a quick scroll bar to get from the bottom to the middle of the photos quickly.

3) Filtering doesn’t work on albums with custom view set. If you don’t use the global view settings, it appears it breaks the filtering.

4) The global view is missing many sort options. Only seems to support sort by date, while the custom sort allows things like sorting by name or size, for instance.

5) There doesn’t seem to be any way to rename files. I could be missing this somewhere, but I would like the option to rename a file.

6) Can’t seem to backspace when entering a passcode.

I’m sure I am forgetting some others, but even these six issues or missing features make me question how useful this app is. If they could get some of this right, I would love to change my review to four or even five stars.
