Great!
Really like this app. Good as a photo album seperate from the one built into iOS, which syncs all over the place. Sometimes I don’t want that. It would be wonderful if you could open the camera quickly to take a pic into an album. Currently needs 3 clicks. A single button or double tap would be perfect!

Awesome app with features the stock app should have
Worth it just for the “not in an album” smart album. Now I can actually know when everything is categorized. It also makes it super easy to browse by date.
Best Photo Gallery
Works great, looks good and lets you keep public photos public and private photos private.
Thank you so much!! 🙏
I hate how apple hasnt added the ability to add image folders into others!! Ive been struggling re-adding the images only for them to get jumbled up and creating lots of wasted time re-organizing them.
I’m so happy this app helps with that, and does something Apple apparently can’t do 🙄

Unusable since keywords can’t be exported
This is a pretty amazing photo editor with one fatal flaw: all the work you’ve put into organizing your photos is locked into hash photos on your iPhone - there’s no reasonable way to get that data into another piece of software like Lightroom for example, or when you need to remove some photos or videos from your phone to clear up space (sure you can back up your photos via iCloud, but none of the keywords will go with them).
So as much as I love this app, having my organization work locked into HashPhotos kills it for me. If the developer manages to open up the data in some way so that the tags and notes can be used outside of HashPhotos, I’ll come back to it instantly, but I’ve spoken with them via email multiple times and unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be happening 🙁

Replace your stock photos app!
First to the developer: THANK YOU! It may seem so simple: make a photos app that works better and has more functionality than the stock app. And yet, somehow all previous attempts have either fallen short or been bloated with garbage. This app is simply excellent, and I now use it instead of the stock photo app. You will love this!

Please sync the keywords with MacOS Photos keywords
I have a large database of pictures that need to be tagged with keywords. When I tag them on this app, the changes do not appear on MacOS Photos app. It also doesn't work the other way around: The keywords I have defined on MacOS Photos aren't in the app.
Other ExIF tags such as titles seem to be synced just fine. The problem is specifically with the "keyword" tags.
It would be nice if this is added to the app as well. Managing keywords and filtering albums based on them is one of the main functionalities I am looking for, but it's all useless if it doesn't carry over to my photo database on Mac.

Awesome Photos app replacement; UPDATE
The app no longer opens, it just crashes after rebooting my iPad. I updated the app today and it worked fine, but then I rebooted my iPad and can no longer open the app.

I'm not a fan of the Photos app in iOS 10 so I looked for a replacement. This is it! I don't care to have my photos grouped by moments or people and not be able to delete those folders, or to see the new enormous folder icons. HashPhotos has none of that garbage. (If they add it, I hope it's optional.) The tap-hold-drag to select and delete is very convenient and quick. Haven't really used the tagging features yet, but I plan to.

Does what it says on the label
Does exactly what I need. User interface is fairly simple and as you’d expect. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.
Good app, small suggestion
Can you make it so you don’t have to keep asking for password when viewing private albums/folders. Maybe give option so that you only need the password when you launch the app. Also add fingerprint password.
