  • Tigger

In regards to the spelling error that other reviewer mentioned. Just looking for it yourself would be great. I found it in under a minute so I’m sure you could too. But because I’m a nice person I will tell you. It’s in the paragraph under anti theft in your description of features.
  • VPN issue

I can no longer turn the VPN on.
I use the dashboard which says check then turn on but I have to go to settings on phone and slide the vpn switch on but it will not stay on for more than a few seconds.
I am slightly suspicious of Avira as they took money from my a/c on a repeat sub but I still had time on my prime sub.I emailed them but got no response so looks like I have duplicate subs now.
And I have never had proof of any suspicious sites being blocked on the dashboard so am wondering if it’s needed at all🤔

Has the basis of being an excellent product, but has some bugs. Although I paid for the Prime version it reverts back to the free version at startup. If you log out and log back in, it starts in Prime and then reverts to Free. If you set up another account with a different email address on the website this gets around this. Also, when installing it on an IPad with the same email address as an iPhone the search for lost phone keeps showing a red bar requesting you log into the website. This again is can be solved by making a new account and email address on the website. Also, I note that the website shows both the iPhone and IPad but states they have not been registered.

After further tests I have discovered the reason it will not register the purchase of a subscription from the App Store is that you have login to the App with you Apple ID. If you then login into the Avira website on a Mac, the subscription will be shown. It also fixes the lost phone problem

  • This app is amazing!

I was constantly getting scam calls. After downloading Avira, those calls are a thing of the past. It silences calls that are not in my contact list, sending them to voicemail.

I do wish it worked on texts, too.😉
  • Good app

Overall really like that app and that I can have up to 5 devices on my account. Only thing that is weird is the VPN affects my ability to connect to my home wifi on my cell. It worked fine the first day (vpn one and wifi connected) and then it wouldn’t let it be on plus connected to wifi. It’s just an extra step to remember to turn it off when I get home.

  • Cheap and reliable

If you’re looking for a cheap and reliable VPN look no further. Avira has you covered. I was skeptical at first (looking at all the top VPN services and thinking to myself) “if it’s cheap it’s probably not high quality”. But, I was wrong. A buddy of mine actually recommended it and I was impressed with the app’s ability. It’s only like $30 a year or something like that for unlimited VPN usage. It’s really a deal too good to beat.

  • Want to cancel thought this app was for free

    Disappointed
  • Avira iPhone

Excellent, quick scan service. Liked that it sought out copies of photos for optional deletion.
  • Great little app

Great little application for apple totally worth the extra for the money and the security. Got really worried after the TMobile security incident/breech and beefed up the protocols all around. I like Avira they have been around forever and when I found out they were available on the iPhone, that was it.
