The video ads have been intrusive, but now they pop up every 2 seconds. ### 2/5 — Not loving the updated app *2024-10-19, version 5.16.1705* I loved being able to open my app and see the current temp and conditions not liking The cluttered look. Commercial ads play then the video starts. Then 30-45 seconds later another ad. Then the video starts over again. Often when I try to move the video forward to where I left off, another ad plays. Occasionally the video would continue. More often it started over again. I never did manage to watch the entire forecast video. I love your weather and other than this the app is great. They are the same ads, usually and really annoying! Tonite (Tuesday) the forecast was for Monday night into Tuesday! Trying to get a forecast video for Tuesday night into Wednesday! Also, as someone else pointed out, the forecasts are wrong a large percentage of the time! I depend on the weather for my livelihood and saying it might rain or it might not rain is not helpful. I can say the same thing and I’m not getting PAID to say that! I need to know for sure! I know weather is not an exact science but-come on! Also humidity level is hard to find or isn’t provided. The old app was much nicer. The ability to turn off auto play for the videos would be nice too. ### 2/5 — WFMZ Weather App *2018-06-22, version 4.6.1700* iPad mini 2 After the iOS update to 11.3 with the floating dock, the app puts it’s symbol in the dock with either a small arrow or a small alarm clock. I have the Recents part turned OFF in the OS. ALL alerts in the OS and the app are turned OFF. STILL the app puts it’s symbol in the Recents part of the app. I can only get rid of it if I restart the iPad. Sometimes as many as three times. So I sadly deleted the WFMZ Weather app. I now use Weather Bug. ### 1/5 — Not working! *2018-02-25, version 4.5.1800* Will only open in portrait mode! I USED to love this app for its reliability and accuracy. Not anymore. But what happens 10 seconds after it loads my info and tells me that? A commercial starts playing REALLY loudly (my phone is set to vibrate and night shift) with no way to stop it. Severe weather notifications happen after the event. If they say breezy , expect high winds. However the app is painfully slow. I’ve tried other weather apps but the daily weather is always horizontal and I hated having to scroll over to see the whole week. THIS app is exactly what I wanted, simple, vertical list, I can see the whole week without having to scroll left or right, and the temperatures are more accurate than the other apps I’ve used where they would be a good 4-6 degrees off. ### 5/5 — New version of the weather app *2015-10-01, version 3.9.602* I had the older version of this app for quite a few years and loved it!
