This app however does have a couple little bugs. Will just stop playing from time to time (once a week maybe). Everytime you stop and restart, you have to listen to an ad. And the ‘watch live’ feature does work, but it’s never actually on the broadcaster. And when it is, it’s delayed. If you can fix these problems that I have, I’ll change my 4 stars to 5 Stars. 👍 ### 3/5 — Apple watch *2024-03-21, version 25.5* Can we please get an apple watch app? ### 2/5 — Buggy and needs improving *2024-02-02* I listen everyday driving in regional areas. I’ll list my gripes: - no fwd/rev controls on CarPlay - no show / content selection from CarPlay - login requests way too often - when listening to recorded show the app regularly and randomly drops out, requires me to sign in again and loses the position I’ve listened up to (super annoying). May be linked to loss of mobile signal but the old app allowed me to download and this asn’t an issue - did I mention I cannot download shows!! - no fwd/rew controls on Lock Screen - volume levels between ads/different shows/ intro music can be excruciatingly quiet or loud Surely these are more important items to rectify than a sleep timer, an iPhone can turn off the player itself with the timer app. Hope you can fix cause I love listening but I have been listening to more podcast of late due to app frustration. **Developer response:** Hi There, thanks for taking the time to review and give us this feedback. In our latest release we've worked on fixing the issue with Login prompts on CarPlay. Over the coming months we'll work on re-introducing on-demand content in CarPlay. I know it’s radio but there were times that having the ability to watch what was going on was fun and/or interesting. Wish they chose to take away some ads instead…. Two things drive me spare : Never listen Sat and Sunday . Garden shows drive me spare . Streaming . 6PR app nightmare drops out when using phone for other purposes Announcers are great ! Millsy and Karl have saved the early mornings 5 days a week 👍🏼 ### 2/5 — Just OK *2023-03-13* The app drops out a lot and I find it incredibly annoying that each time I open it, I get an ad. Often the same one over and over - I’d liked to be able to just listen immediately. I understand the need for ads but they’re already on the radio so it’s a double up that I don’t appreciate. Content is fine. If drop outs and ad upon opening app stop I’ll upgrade my star rating. ### 4/5 — Easy listening *2023-02-26, version 21.12* I enjoy radio in the background whilst working. Preferred Millsy on his own. It’s great think I can put my views across via text message and nine times out of 10 it gets aired. Ollie Peterson is doing a fantastic job and the rest of the crew. Need some lessons on how to talk to people and general PR!!! ### 1/5 — Completely unusable at this point *2024-04-23, version 25.6* Crashes frequently. Having to listen to additional ads from the app before the live broadcast starts seems unnecessary as we already listen to the ads that are being broadcasted. ### 1/5 — The legends of radio are no longer *2023-06-09* 6PR were captivating when Bob Maumill, George Grulisich and co were around. I could listen to Bob Maumill talk about Tiddlywinks and he would be riveting listening. I loved 6PR but now I’ve converted to podcasts etc. Millsy and Karl is a failure. Millsy and Basil were very good together. Millsy on his own PM show was horrid. Karl was best heading the 6pm sports team I rarely missed it. Peter Vlahos is dry and uninteresting. This sports show is the worst on radio. I give Gary Adshead a tick, Julie-Anne Sprague is horrendous, Oliver Peterson tick, and I tune into Simon Beaumont on the weekends who is the shining star in a dwindling universe. ### 1/5 — Ads and half conversations *2023-05-04, version 21.12* Have to sit through all the app ads only to return to the show halfway through a discussion with no idea what’s going on which only lasts a minute before the station ads start up. It often stops the whole app from working, so you get no ad revenue from listeners at all, you morons. Then once you’re in the app it constantly fails. And the massive volume increase during ads that basically hurts your ears? Great way to annoy your listeners and drive them away, rather that getting them to pay attention to the ads, you morons. No big loss anyway, the poor quality journalism and left wing bias means it’s not worth listening to anyway. Can’t download shows to listen to when no phone signal. App logs you out when it loses signal and loses position in the show you’re listening to. Our car always has 6PR AND so does the caravans sound system 💕 Keep up the great work 6PR! They wouldn’t face him. Enjoying most time slots and enjoy the banter in the mornings. Radio is on 6PR when I can. Hence am now on the App whilst out having coffee…… Agree wholeheartedly with the above 6PR offers a good blend of listening….the only station in WA that does. Years ago would flit between morning ABC and 6PR, wouldn’t touch ABC with a barge pole now. If that’s fixed then it’ll be perfect. ### 5/5 — Listening from Townsville *2023-03-22, version 21.12* Relatively new to 6PR, but I begin the day on 3AW with Ross and Russ, over to 2GB with Ray Hadley then across to Perth for Gary on the morning show, then Jo at midday. I truly enjoy news and talk, all stations are doing great. There’s not much to say about the FM brand in Townsville though. ### 5/5 — Less ads please *2023-02-20* Pity about all the ads when you open the APP just want to listen when you open it. Enjoy the daytime presenters. Less ads at all times would make it a better station. ### 5/5 — Awesome station *2023-02-07* Can’t stand commercial fm/digital station DJs who go way over the top and are usually the only ones laughing at their attempts at humour, especially the afternoon drive shows, 6PR is the go, I do miss Robert, Jo is the female version (compliment there) I do wish they could move to FM as DAB can be hit and miss, love to know why they stick with AM???
