TRY Something DIFFERENT?

Born in NJ the taste of the Original after 30 years still had my mouth watering when I first walked into a NJ Mikes!! The fresh cut EVERYTHING (cold specifically) has a distinct fresh smell and then the taste followed without any let down. The Stickball has exactly what I grew up with in our own little “Hoagie Corner” stand in Seaside Heights! That was more than 3 years ago and I Finally broke down to try the hot Famous Philly and I was not let down. Did anyone else notice that Subway (their only close competitor in Northern CA) has started cutting their own meat fresh for each sandwich? Overall, I’m glad I tried something different but going back to my #13 😋. The only thing I’m not 100% 😀about is 3 more slices of meat is needed to be able to balance produce, bread and the star of it - MEATS. Yes I can add more but it’s ridiculously priced. FIX THIS PLEASE. Still so happy they are now in my neighborhood once again!!
PS The app worked perfectly, now let’s see if my instructions are followed- no soggy sandwich please!

Cannot use Shore Points or Reorder a Past Order from Account

This is one of the worst food apps I have ever used. This app will show all my past orders but will not let me REORDER one, even tho there is a place you are suppose to tap on to reorder (nothing happens when you tap on it or anywhere near it. ALSO, it will not let me use my Shore Points to pay for a sub. If I order online I must pay the TOTAL cost online since it won’t let me use my Shore Points in the app, the Shore Points are Worthless when using App! If there is an APP Only Special, you will not be able to pay for anything with Shore Points. There is a place where it says “Use in Store” for the Shore Points but if you order online you must pay for the TOTAL Cost of the Order online (credit card is being charged the full amount for the order). The store doesn’t reimburse your credit card if you TRY to use your Shore Points at the store after already paying the total cost of the order online. There is NO option available to “pay at store”, which would solve this Shore Point usage problem. Don’t know if all these app problems are due to the LOCATION of the store I am ordering from … if the store is not allowing these features on the app for their store.

It’s not the food or the staff, it’s the management

My go to is Jersey Mikes. I patronize my local shop, Okatie SC. The sandwiches are good sometimes. But the manager of this place either struggles to train his staff or monitor them. I place Togo orders frequently and 90% of the time, I show up at the time designated and they haven’t even started my order. They have enough staff everytime but I always see at least two or theee employees carrying the weight of the entire system. The rest seem to be engaged in inane activities that can absolutely wait until the customers are taken care of, including to go printouts. I’ve been told several times when asking where the manager is to help or speak to and they never seem to be available. My orders have been incorrect or very sloppy or hot sandwiches cold. I hold the management responsible and they need to get their acts together. It’s a very busy sandwich shop because of its location so there should be better organization. It’s exasperating to want to support local business when they don’t seem to worry about their customers because they will be busy without concern for losing customers. Do better by your employees and your customers.

Creating an account

Creating an unnecessary account to order a sandwich is a little much. I’m assuming that that is for the purpose of using the app. Why do I need a secondary verification source. For some reason, I don’t receive those texts, nor does my wife’s phone. I used to get them for other accounts that I have, but they don’t make it to my phone. I obviously know that it has nothing to with Mike’s, but it is not needed. Then I have to pick out every square that has a motorcycle in it. I did it 3 or 4 times and it kept coming back as, “try again.” Maybe they’re trying to trick me with a tiny little piece of a motorcycle part, like a speck of a fender or a…………..the parts are unlimited for this type of trickery. I want to try an Italian sub from the brand spanking new, Jersey Mike’s, in the town I live in, in Southern NH. I’m not trying to acquire some uranium to sell to Iran. I JUST WANTED A SANDWICH. I guess I’ll never know now. I’m not a dinosaur, nor am I a young twenty something man who likes every aspect of today’s technology (which will be obsolete by tomorrow). I like technology, but it seems to me that it has made doing simple tasks, unnecessarily more difficult. Good luck to the new Jersey Mike’s just established in my town in Southern New Hampshire.

Not ready

Hi
I love Jersey Mikes! I just moved here six months ago, and was happy that a JerseyMikes was about to open near me here. However, I wanted to tell you that when I ordered online and drop by to pick up my order a half hour later, there were six or eight people behind the line and, the bags weren’t on the counter like I have seen in every other jersey Mike’s. There was one girl behind the line, making sandwiches besides the regular people near some bags, but I had to flag down someone to check if one of the bags were mine behind the line. No one seemed very concerned that three or four of us were waiting for bags that were finished.
The sandwiches were delicious as usual but I hope in the future they get in sync like the rest of the awesome jersey are.

Review Jersey Mikes

I hv been a customer with Jersey Mikes for a very long time. My daughter who had 3 big boys is a long time customer and we all hv loved this place. However over the last year and a half their prices hv gone up and sandwiches have gotten MUCH SMALLER. If I kniw anything about restaurant businesses when this happens business will go down drastically. Hate that happen to them but I also know I hv stopped buying their sandwiches do to their new practiced. I know times ate tough today but they do not hv to do this to their customer who ny the way put them on the map. This is just my family and my opinions. Each and everyone needs to make their own decision. I do hv to say I love their products bit just not willing to get smaller product vs price!

Amazing Customer Service

We order from Jersey Mike’s quite often. One evening we used delivery as our method and we were given the wrong sandwiches by accident. Not only did they call us to tell us we got the wrong order before I could call them; they remade our order and gave us a free sub for next visit along with coupons for future visits. We were greatly impressed and have rarely experienced above average customer service in the food service industry. They made our night and owned the mistake. We recommend them over any other sandwich place in the area! We used to be frequent Blimpie buyers, but now we are thankful Jersey Mike’s is around, right in town and super delicious! Thanks Jersey Mike’s for making a quick sandwich that is tasty in Caldwell! They are super busy so I would recommend ordering via the online app and picking up in store. Another location by the D&B area in Caldwell off 20/26 would thrive like crazy as well. We have nothing over here!

Needs more customization on the sandwiches

I love jersey mikes but the one downside to the app is not enough customization for the sandwiches.

Provolone isn’t really my favorite cheese and I prefer to have American. I wish we can pick and choose different cheeses on the app. When I’m in the store physically, they always did this for me. On the app I can’t. I tried doing the special instructions to let them know about the cheese but it seems it was missed by the staff (I don’t blame the staff on this as they always did a perfect job whenever I asked! This is more of a design flaw on the app!)

If you could add more customization on the cheese front I would use this app a lot more! I may try again to see if it was a one time bad luck thing but like I said, this is more of a design issue rather than a staff issue. Also adding more variety of the pop, desserts, chips etc.

I give it 4 stars for now since they did make my husband’s sandwich perfect but I hope they can add customization of the cheeses because I know others may not want a certain cheese over the other so maybe a food for thought for a small update design? I’m hoping to try again with the app because I would love to use the points for sure.

Points are a scam and no customer service rep to get it fixed!!!

I’ve eaten at Jersey Mike’s for almost a year and had the app for about six months. I have always gotten the giant famous Philly when I stop there.I’ve always made sure that I’ve had my app scanned when I’m doing my order to get the points and I have been there at least five times during a double points day and other times when it was just regular points days. And I have only got 36 points in my account. I know I’ve eaten there at least 12 times based on the receipts that IHead found. So this is ridiculous! But double points days don’t ever give you points or they don’t give you points at all and if you try to find out how to get it fixed, you’reLeft out in the dark because there’s no one to talk to you about it or to try and fix it so they’re basically Luer you because of the double points days and they don’t give you anything!!!!
