Greed is too much
The graphics are beautiful but G5 is much too greedy. Rubies are necessary unless, perhaps, you are incredibly good at finding objects that are nearly totally blended into the scene. The only significant way to get them is to buy them. They are used to buy tools that help find objects in scenes.
A major attraction to me of this game is it gives tasks that have you visit scenes to collect certain objects. Everything in the game generates objects needed for a collection and objects needed to combine the collection. After getting the 5 objects for a collection you need 2 to 10 of each of 4 objects needed to combine. A new task won’t start until you combine the collection. BUT some items that are needed to combine different collections are really rare in the game. You really need to spend rubies to get the ones you don’t have!
I currently have 6 or 7 collections that I need about $40 to buy what I need. I might have 90 instances of objects where I need 2 for 2 of the collection objects. And I might have 2 of another one that I need 10 for one collection, and 5 each to complete two more collections.
I will never look at another game by this company.Show lessbhggxdd
Great game, beautiful graphics but...
As with any game there are things I love about this game and things I can’t stand but the loves are much more than the hates. I look at this game as entertainment so I don’t mind spending a little each month on it and so far I have been able to play without paying a large amount. Sure, if you are impatient then you may have to pay more but you can play without paying it will just take longer. Love- The graphics are beautiful and very well done and the challenges are challenging but as in the last event- the Greenhouse- some are somewhat ridiculous. There is no way to find all the items in time without using a “tool” and if I had not had a large amount saved up I would have given up on it right away. There is a difference between challenging and mind boggling developers! My only other major dislike is the repetition of having to search in the same area over and over on quests...it’s a huge town developers, why do we have to stay in the same place quest after quest?? Lastly would be the monster quests....you must have EXTREME patience to survive those and I must admit to absolutely hating the monster quests. In the last one I had to save up over 100 “guns” to beat that quest...that was almost a weeks work for a very small pay out. Keep it fun developers, nobody likes to play something that makes them want to pull their hair out. I have mixed reviews on this game. The graphics, some games and storyline are great, but the difficulty level is too hard once you get to the upper levels. I’m at level 68, but some of the quests are so hard that you cannot get past them without buying diamonds to get items to help you. (i.e. The station). The only way I’ve found to get free diamonds is to level up. You have to search for items, but as you progress, the number of items you need to find increases or the time decreases, I’m not sure which one, but it’s sure harder than when I started. You can add “unknown G5 friends” and request items from them to help you, but they don’t always send you what your requesting. There are also special “events” for a limited time that they promote, but even at level 68, I have yet to be able to complete any of them due to the difficulty of the games as you progress through it. So, if you’re able to spend money on the game (which I’m not) or you’re a lot better than me at finding things quickly, you’d probably really enjoy it. For those of us who can’t afford it, you can progress and enjoy some of the games, but it’s somewhat frustrating working toward a goal you can’t reach.Show lessNutly4567
New update is impossible
I’ve been playing for awhile now and thought several times about leaving a review complaining about your greediness. Obnoxious ads pop up that have to be exited out of twice and will crash my iPad causing me to lose all of the rewards from whatever scene I just searched. You make it impossible to earn rubies which are the only things you can use to buy objects, meanwhile I have almost 600,000 coins that I’ve earned that I can’t do anything with because I’ve unlocked all of the scenes.
The new update, however, it what finally inspired me to leave a review. The scene is impossible with the flowers and tiny details. Not only are the incredibly minuscule keys impossible to find, but the regular objects are difficult as well. I’ve tried the same silhouettes mode 5 times now and still am losing every single time because I can’t figure out what some of the silhouettes are or where they are located. I have not had nearly this much trouble with any other location. You guys really messed this one up. Hope you figure it out for next month’s scene.Show lessMomo927777
Fun but Greedy little app
So, I’ve been playing this game for about six months but am now super annoyed by it. I know apps need to make money and I have made some purchases but, come on, this game is so difficult to play now unless you spend tons of money on those dang rubies. Anomalies, everywhere, all the time and they never reward you with the tools to banish them. I’ve got monsters everywhere but he** if they reward you with the tools to fight them. Then the ads, omg the ads! You win and they pop up and block you from seeing your rewards. This game has gotten so frustrating now. Sometimes I just log on for days to collect the daily rewards so I can actually get something done when I sit down and play. I am not going bankrupt over your little game. I feel sorry for those that do. Needless to say the game is beautiful. It would be nice to purchase it once and get all the tools you ever need. At least give us a break, you have so many ads obviously you’re also making money there. I don’t think I’ll ever download another G5 game.Show lessryocg
It’s okay I guess
I’ve only been playing for like an hour or so now but it keeps asking me to rate it, even in my quest list (grr) so I though I’ll just get it out of the way. Pretty sure they asked me to rate 5 stars to get some bonus stuff but I don’t care for it. Haven’t read any of the drivel they call a story line. Just want to find stuff. In saying that, I have to click so many times due to so much reading content and ‘oks’ you’re forced to go through that there is very little finding objects compared. It’s about 95% reading boring stuff and 5% gameplay. Especially in these early stages where all 11 objects can be found in 15 seconds or so. I do like that the objects are changed around when you have to redo each level so many times, keeps it interesting. I can imagine later on in the game it’ll make it next to impossible to play unless I spend actual money as every app demands these days (how annoying is this? I swear apps have destroyed gaming in so many ways). Also some objects are named things I wouldn’t normally call them but that could just be me not being an intellect lol.Show lesspolarbi

Addictive
Very addictive. There is no instruction as to how to play. You just have to google.
Few things which might help is to have a feature to win more coins, or gems without spending your own money. I’ve found myself getting bored at times due to having to get around this by waiting days to collect as sometimes the levels are hard to pass.
Ways to move forward when you can’t pass a level no matter how hard you try lol

It’s so annoying
So I was in the secret room and I had to hind a notebook but I couldn’t fine it. Then I used the hint but the notebook was behinds the timer(hint) so I couldn’t click it. I tried to click the notebook but it kept clicking the timer and lanterns(hint) and I failed the stage. I really feel annoyed of the round.
