Not user-friendly
It’s crazy that if I want to order the same thing I ordered last time I have to fill everything out again. I agree with other users that say it keeps some information for a little while and then randomly erases your previous orders. Doesn’t make any sense that I can’t just order the same thing over and over again or at least have access to my previous orders to decide what I want. Makes me not want to go to chopt. I agree. Need more payment options!
This review is just for payment, I haven’t used the app to order. I don’t like the LevelUp concept of charging on the 13th/15th of the month like it’s a credit card. Another LevelUp app that implements this is their Doughnut Plant app. It should give me the option to add money to the app when needed (like Starbucks) or deduct the cost of my meal from my debit card right then and there through Apple Pay or something equivalent. Who is to say that I’ll have the total amount in my account on the 15th? I know I’d have it on the day I go because that’s why I go! Not effective for me at all.Show lessBrainy225
Works well, simple to use
I downloaded the app and got setup in minutes. Very clear instructions in setup and ordering, had no technical issues and plenty of options to select from. Arrived at the store and went straight to the register and they handed me my salads — no complaints!
It does seem many reviews here are older, and it seems the latest version of the app fixed many of the basic issues people had flagged.Show lessJPortman

Moses and the team at Chopt continually exceed expectations. The food is fresh and they are always rotating new ingredients through out the menu so the options are endless. The only thing making it worth standing in the line out the door is the staff!! Definitely a great place to go if you eat healthy!Show lessBryNYC
Constructive criticism
I’ve heard this place is good to eat at. I’ve never left a review on an app before, but felt like I wanted to in this case. Take this how you want Chopt. I was pumped to order food for my wife and I so I called and asked to place an order and they directed me to download the app which i felt was bad customer service, but I did because I was hungry.
I then got to the add payment method screen before I ordered my food which I thought was weird, but did anyways because... I was hungry. Then I went to the next screen where it wants to group bill? Or preload? I turned the app off, deleted it and decided to order Meza. It’s hard to lose a hungry customer. Such a weird experience.Show lessMichaelCostanzo24
Daily CHOPT eater
I've used the App for a very long time, and have been satisfied with it! Recent updates removed the "special requests" box where I could request spinach/Kale instead of romaine...why the deletion? I eat Chopt for lunch every day, this makes it impossible to customize my salad in a way that has worked for the better part of a year. Can we have that feature added back in? Using the "pickup instructions" box does not work for these types of requests as the line workers build the salad and THEN consult the pickup instructions box. Chopping the goods
Huge fan of chopt but this app has got to go - I rated it a 2 because it gets the job done, but they are constantly having issues. Some days it doesn't work and now they don't let you leave additional comments or special instructions so I have to call. Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Oh and they are only supposed to charge me on the 15th of every month but I've had multiple charges the past 3 months. Keep it simple!Show lessChopt Enthusiast
Fix the payment method
I have tried and tried and tried to add my cards and it never takes them. No i don't get a message saying it didn't work. The add card button just highlights. Nothing happens. This has been like this for a while because I stopped using the app after this first happened. 2 months later? Still an issue. Yep I've uninstalled and installed. Just a flawed app.Show lessParisNico
Worst Payment System Ever
The payment method for this app is absolutely bizarre, unnecessary, and insulting to consumers. Simply add in the ability to order what you want and pay at check out.
There is no need to have two options that either forces you to have a $10 balance minimum that will automatically bump you to $25 whenever you fall below it, or the ability to get charged on a monthly basis.

Wanna get really really frustrated?
This app is a nightmare! If you order the same thing every time, it stores it for a while and then randomly erases it. If you try to correct a typo in the notes, it erases the whole note. The worst is that it automatically sends the order to what it considers the closest location (which is not even the case since it keeps trying to send my lunch order to a location five miles away even though I'm now within a mile of my usual location.) You can't change the location within the order so you have to start again once you realize it's put in the wrong location. And even though I'm practically at the location where I want to pick up my salad, it doesn't even show that location in the pull down menu!! I've now deleted the app and am going to reload it in the hopes that that will break this vicious cycle. I've never written an online review before but I was driven by frustration to write this one -- this is a horrible app!!!! I wish I could give it zero stars.Show lessannesCT
