  • My favorite word game

And I say that seriously as it’s the only one I committed to fully purchasing. This one I think was $30 to fully unlock and in my opinion, definitely worth it. No ads, unlimited hints, all levels unlocked (old and new), daily puzzles available forever, and most importantly, no subscription! As for the game itself, well I bought it for a reason! It’s a quiet, soothing word game, a mix of unscramble and crossword kind of. But no timer, no rush, the only real downside is you only get one “undo”. Next error means a restart. I say downside, it makes it a challenge. Usually. Just annoying on those ones where you have the entire puzzle but one solved 😅 seriously great game though, count it in my top 5.

  • Unique and fascinating game

I love this game! I have been playing for years now, and it is just very relaxing and fun. It’s great how the developers have been working on the game the whole time. The music is very relaxing, and the themes are interesting.

I hope the developers read this; I have a request for a feature where you can hide completed levels. At this point, I have a whole lot of completed levels to scroll past to get the new levels or ones I just haven’t completed yet, and I think the interface would be improved with an option to hide completed levels.

That said, I highly recommend this game. It’s one of my favorites, one I try to get into each day.

  • Really liked it, til the ads

I read about this app in a list of ad free games. I am so fed up with long ads across multiple screens when trying to play games, so this seemed like a dream. I made it through over 20 levels til I saw an ad—and if I could play that long before being served another, that’d be ok. But then there were ads every other level. I’m so sad. I’d be glad to pay a few bucks to avoid ads, support the really cool developers behind this interesting game. Ads might make this unplayable for me, unfortunately.

  • serious recurring issue

so for the most part the app is great. seems to be getting slower and slower, or maybe that's just my iPad showing its age. but the app does have one serious, recurring issue: every month, it needs an update to allow users to play the new month's daily puzzles.

WHY??? why is it this cannot have a permanent fix? if the daily puzzles had a major change in format or function i could understand needing the occasional update, but i've had this happen multiple times.

and until the app is updated to support the new month's puzzles, trying to access the daily puzzles causes the app to lock up.

this is frustrating, to say the least.

otherwise the app is quite stable, and receives content update fairly regularly. i've been playing it for years and enjoy it. i hope the May update is forthcoming and will fix this unhappy issue once and for all (though i decline to hold my breath in anticipation).

Hi there, thanks for your feedback. This issue was fixed hours after it was found and went live on Monday ;) Have you been able to update the app?
  • Great game - too many ads

Honestly, I love the game. It’s very stimulating to the brain, etc. etc. But the amount of ads is very annoying. I get one after every level, and I tend to fly though the levels, so I get an ad every few minutes. I have more ads than I do game time at this point. I may as well just download those games being pushed instead of this one at that point, since I see the ad for the same few games more than I see actual gameplay for this.

  • Fun Game- are they still supporting it?

I really enjoy this game. Very challenging and a good opportunity to learn about topics you haven’t explored before.

My only concern is that it hasn’t been updated in three years, and there’s a very frustrating bug on the iOS version where if you change the screen orientation, the screen gets all messed up and you have to close and reopen the app to fix it. So you have to be careful not to turn your phone to the side.

I want to buy the pack with all the levels, but I’m hesitant to do so if the app is no longer being supported and updated, since it will eventually just stop working after enough iOS updates.

Hi there thanks for playing and for your feedback! You’ll be pleased to hear there is lots and lots of new content coming to the game THIS YEAR!! 😉
  • New levels soon???

Hi…I have enjoyed this game for a long time, now. I have restarted the whole thing two or three times, and STILL like to play.
I really would like very much to see new levels added.
    Keep up the good work!!
  • Addicting!

Great game! I’m addicted! I tested out the free version to see if I’d like it. I LOVED it and am looking forward to new packs.

The sizing is a little buggy on my iPhone XR. When I move on to the next game sometimes the sizing is HUGE and it “fights back” when I try to resize. Sometimes it takes three or four attempts to size it where I want it. A small annoyance for a game I’m addicted to. Caught a few misspellings! Again, no biggie, can’t even remember what they were. I can’t comment on all the bells and whistles because I was too busy playing.

The big disappointment for me is that I can’t replay the packs.

  • Still a go-to game

it's always on my iPad. i keep hoping for new updates to add more puzzles, but i'm nowhere near done with the ones i have so i don't guess there's any rush. :)

i have noticed than on my 7th gen iPad, if i tap the level name to get the menu, the top and bottom of the menu screen are cut off. i also notice that the hint button is still too easy to hit. maybe if it required a long press? and it's still very frustrating to have only one undo per level. unlimited undos would be a bit much, but maybe three? even two would be enough to allow me to relax a bit. i've also noticed that the letters can be a little blocky with some colouring artifacts around their edges.

all in all, though, i love the game. it's a long-time favourite and one of the first apps i install when i get a new iPad. keep up the great work!

  • No updates

EDITED: I have sent several messages to the developers regarding updates. The first reply said there were more levels coming, but now I am just being ignored. Don't waste your money. I have been waiting almost 2 years and nothing to show for the money I spent for unlimited play.

I have written this before, but now I just feel scammed out of the money I paid for "lifetime" puzzles. Ever since I paid to have access to all of the puzzles, there has not been a SINGLE update adding new ones to the app. I would like a refund back since giving you my money has been a complete waste. If I could give no stars, I would. Every time I contact you regarding updates, I am told they are coming. It's been well over a year, probably closer to two, since there have been extra puzzles added.
