  • And I just read a negative review

I just stumbled across the review titled "Kinda fun but poorly executed". Man, what a grouchy-poo! I can't believe someone would be such a grump about a free game. I don't know the developer, but I appreciated his response about returning to a previous screen - GREAT INFO! (I have to admit, I, too, hadn't watched/read the
tutorial on the app to discover that hidden gem. My bad.) Anyway I really enjoy this app, the puzzles make me think hard, and I can testify it's helping me keep my
A-game-brain in tune and ready to use for more important tasks. Thank you, developer, for investing "hundreds of hours" into this app. Please know that there are many of us bopping along in the background LOVING what you've created for us. Because of stumbling across that negative review, I for one, will be better at handing out positive reviews. ♥️♥️♥️

  • Lots of fun so far

And made me think from the very start.

Ok updating this review here because there was no way to communicate with the app developer from within the game!

Essentially I am stuck on the Delta level because the D-3 puzzle has a word with a blank space on it. Since the puzzle treats this blank like a real letter, I can't possibly move forward even though I have solved the puzzle. Could someone please remove the blank letter tile or tell me how I can move past it?

  • Kinda fun but poorly executed!

Whose idea was it to have the level selection screen be different letters but the same numbers on a scrabble board with no linear direction? I bet it was the same idiot who decided to make it possible to select a level you have already completed but NOT include a button to return to the level selection screen! Every time I accidentally select the wrong '1' or '2' or '3' I have to shut down the entire application and start over to select - or, rather, ATTEMPT to select - a new level. Deleting it as soon as I finish this review. The concept is interesting but I'm not the kind of body to ignore such a serious pairing of design flaw.

    Developer Response

Hi, first of all thanks for playing. I will try to remain positive despite the fact that you call me an idiot in your very negative review. This game that you're playing for free in fact took me hundreds upon hundreds of hours to make. This game has been out for years and has thousands of players around the world who thoroughly enjoy playing. Do you really think that I wouldn't put a button inside the level to return to the main screen? If you recall as instructed by the in-game tutorial that you went through, if you tap the title bar, the menu appears inside the level and there is a button to return to the level selection screen. From the map/level-selection screen, there are small "x" icons which you can click at every checkpoint to return to the level pack selection screen. You must realize that the time that it took you to publicly write a slanderous review such as this you could've written me via email. There are numerous positive reviews and negative reviews such as this are very damaging. I ask that you please take your review down or at least change it... I see that you might have already deleted the game, not giving it a chance.
  • Outstanding word puzzler

Very happy with this one; tough, fair, with slick execution. I have yet to run out of free content, so I can't speak to the value of the paid content. Does a great job of making you feel clever once you solve a puzzle … or even a single word in a puzzle.
