### 2/5 — Can’t use without try getting the 7 day free trial.

*2026-04-19*

It’s weird because I used the app before and I didn’t have this problem. I redownloaded it and now I couldn’t use it without signing up for the free trial.

**Developer response:** Hey! Totally get the frustration. The app has grown a lot since you last used it. AI coaching, new features, and a ton of work went into making it way better, so we moved to a trial model to keep it all sustainable.

Old users can still use the app as usual, but a fresh install resets things and can’t recognize you as a returning user, which is what triggered the prompt. You can start the free trial and cancel right away to regain access with no charge until the trial ends. Sorry for the confusion!

### 3/5 — Great for 75 hard but lags

*2026-03-13*

I’m at the end of my 75 day challenge! This app has been amazing for checking off my daily goals and seeing my progress. I also love the journal feature every day. However, towards the end it has gotten extremely glitchy, making it harder to log journal entries or check items off the list. It just lags a lot and is super slow. Overall great design though!

**Developer response:** Hey! Glad you enjoyed the challenge and the journal feature, and congrats on finishing the 75 days!
Sorry about the lag and glitches toward the end. If you’re open to it, please contact me through Settings -> Contact Us in the app. I’d be happy to look into it and improve things.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2025-09-03*

Just wish they had a custom section so I can be more clear with my objective. Love the widget feature makes it so easy to check in when I grab my phone

### 2/5 — Won’t accept payment

*2025-07-17*

I’m trying to pay for this app but it keeps saying “payment declined” even though my payment info is correct and I have enough funds in my bank account.

**Developer response:** Hello, You can’t pay directly with your card in the app, only Apple Pay is supported. Apple handles all transactions, so if there’s an issue with the payment, it’s likely a problem with your card or account. Unfortunately, we have no control over it

### 5/5 — Simple & easy to use!

*2025-05-31, version 3.13*

Really simple UI, customisable tasks for your own version of 75Hard challenge, ability to record your weight & photos in app + a journal section to capture moments of each day, clean widgets for your homescreen. I downloaded multiple 75Hard challenge apps and deleted all immediately bar this one. Just a clean and simple app that’s straight to the point with tracking your challenge.

### 3/5 — Not the real 75hard

*2025-05-16*

I am not going to pay for access when I was able to transfer my 75hard data.

This app seems awesome. But having to pay for widgets like almost every other app eh. Not paying just to try that out. I have to pay for access first.

**Developer response:** Hey! Totally get that. Just to be clear, this isn’t the official 75 Hard app, but you can definitely use it for that - plus custom challenges, weight tracking, notes and more.

You don’t have to pay right away either - there’s a free weekly trial so you can try it all out, including widgets. And it’s not just widgets behind the paywall - premium unlocks a bunch of stuff.

I’m a solo dev working on this in my free time, and the support helps me keep building and improving the app. Appreciate you checking it out!

### 5/5 — Muy buena aplicación

*2025-05-13, version 3.13*

Buena aplicación para ser más disciplinado y alcanzar tus metas

### 5/5 — Excellent; DO it

*2025-05-12*

Customizable. Clean. I’ve tried many (habit trackers), this one is preferred; helps me tremendously !

**Developer response:** Thanks so much! Glad to hear it’s helping you - means a lot 🙌

### 2/5 — confusing

*2025-03-28, version 3.8*

i finished all of the questions and it gets to the part where it asks you to pay a premium. i can’t afford it but there’s no place to click to say u don’t want it. went in circles

### 5/5 — Smoooth

*2025-03-05*

Exceeds expectations, Smooth Ui, Great app.

### 2/5 — Photos

*2025-02-17*

En débute avec accès aux photos et a la 16e nous devons payer. Ce n’est pas ce que j’appelle gratuit.

### 5/5 — Very active development

*2025-02-09*

Great changes. loving them. I paid for the app long before the new changes came in and was happy with the purchase then. Feels like I am getting paid back now. Keep up the good work.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your kind words!❤️ I’m glad you’re enjoying the updates. Stay tuned for more! 🚀

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — unsuspected membership purchase

*2026-08-13, version 4.14.0*

unsuspected membership purchase. downloaded app and used for less than one week. go to look at my bank account at had a $29.99 for a subscription that i don’t remember purchasing bc ill never pay for my apps

### 1/5 — Mis leading

*2026-01-07*

There is no free option for this app, the make you buy the subscription before you can do anything on the app

**Developer response:** Hey, you don’t have to pay to try the app. There’s a 7-day free trial you can use, and no payment is required.

### 1/5 — Dont Bother

*2025-05-07*

It’s a nice concept but honestly, it lets you customise your goals, lets you set reminders etc etc. then don’t let you continue with the app at all unless you pay a subscription fee

**Developer response:** Hey, thanks for the review! It’s just me working on this in my free time — I do everything myself, from design to development, and I’ve already put over 450 hours into it. The paywall helps me keep it going, but there’s a free trial with no payment needed, so you can try it first and see if it’s for you

### 1/5 — Poor basic app and Unprofessional handling of feedback

*2025-02-21, version 3.1*

I left this review based on my honest experience with the app. If you consider feedback or refund requests to be “shady” or “suspicious,” that’s unfortunate. My mention of an Amazon gift card was simply sharing an experience I had with another developer. After Apple denied my refund, they kindly offered an alternative refund through PayPal. When PayPal wasn’t an option for me, they suggested a gift card as a goodwill gesture. This was an empathetic response, not something suspicious.

Regarding the purchase, my son accidentally made it. Initially, I thought the app seemed useful, but after further use, I realized it didn’t meet my needs. Had it been more effective, I would have gladly kept it. Instead of addressing my feedback, you ignored my last two emails and chose to publicly respond to my review in a way that felt like an attack.

To clarify, I never requested a gift card. I was simply sharing a past experience with another developer. Apple likely denied my refund because the app offers a free trial, and they may have assumed I had the opportunity to test it beforehand or could have prevented an accidental purchase with my child.

The app itself has clear limitations. While marketed as a habit tracker for weight, photos, water intake, and books read:
1.Only the weight and photo features actually track progress.
2.Water intake and books read are merely checklist items with no meaningful tracking functionality, such as visual charts or progress records like the weight and photo features offer. Setting a daily target doesn’t provide a visual tracking chart or record, so it’s not truly a tracker.
3.The app only allows setting general reminders at specific times, but there are no personalized reminders for individual tasks, making the task management feature impractical.
4.The only customization offered for tasks is the ability to change their icon colors, which adds no real functionality beyond aesthetics.

In reality, the app functions more like a to-do list with a photo and weight tracker—nothing more—at a price of $5.99.

It’s important to note that you were the one who publicly exposed this situation, not me. You falsely claimed that I requested a gift card, which I did not. In my emails, I raised concerns about the app’s missing features and requested specific improvements multiple times, none of which you addressed.

Had Apple refunded me, I wouldn’t have contacted you at all. Instead of considering users’ explanations, you assume the worst and dismiss legitimate concerns. Furthermore, handling this issue publicly on the App Store rather than privately is unprofessional.

I don’t understand the point of telling me you won’t engage further via email while continuing to publicly attack me on the App Store. If you truly had no interest in further discussion, you wouldn’t be responding at all—especially not in a public forum. It seems that rather than resolving issues, you are more interested in discrediting users publicly.

Also, I find it strange that Apple keeps publishing my review, only for it to mysteriously disappear later. That seems highly suspicious.

I don’t owe you an explanation for my son’s accidental purchase. That was something I addressed in my appeal to Apple, not to you. It’s clear that instead of addressing real concerns, you’re more focused on publicly attacking users.

If you continue this behavior, I won’t engage further. You can keep the one-star review, but your public responses are unprofessional. I won’t reply anymore—it’s evident you prefer public confrontation over resolving issues privately.

### 1/5 — upcharges

*2025-02-19, version 3.0*

Not happy with the roll out of add on charges through out the progression. Would give this app zero if could

### 1/5 — Unfair treatment, Poor customer support and Basic Poor app

If Apple had refunded me, I wouldn’t have reached out to you at all. Rather than considering users’ explanations, you assume the worst and dismiss legitimate concerns. Handling this issue publicly on the App Store instead of privately is also unprofessional. Moreover, you claimed that if you had issued a refund via gift card and Apple had processed the refund, I would have received two refunds—suggesting that you assume the worst of people. I would never do that. I even sent you a screenshot showing Apple’s definitive denial after my appeal, so I don’t understand why you’re implying that I was trying to take advantage of you.

I don’t understand the point of telling me you won’t engage further via email while continuing to publicly attack me on the App Store. If you truly had no interest in further discussion, you wouldn’t be responding at all—especially not in a public forum. You can keep the one-star review, but your public responses are unprofessional. it’s evident you prefer public confrontation over resolving issues privately.

**Developer response:** Hey, I have replied to all of your emails, except for the last one, where you asked for a gift card. However, the five previous emails were responded to on the same day you sent them. I want to clarify that I read and reply to all emails, so please do not spread false information.

I never attacked you; all I did was state my position. You first sent me a positive email saying that you liked the app. A few minutes later, you sent another email saying that you hated the app and wanted your money back. I informed you that developers have no access to your subscriptions and that refund requests must be handled through Apple. If Apple denied your request, it likely means you are abusing the refund feature.

You didn’t request specific features; rather, you stated that you wanted a refund because the app does not have certain features. However, the app never advertised or claimed to offer those features. It’s like saying an app lacks a video player when the available screenshots clearly show its functionality. In fact, there is a way to make tasks trackable instead of togglable, and this was visibly shown in the screenshots. If you claim this feature isn’t in the app, it simply means you never used it.

Following this:
	1.	Your first email was positive, but the next one was extremely negative.
	2.	You are requesting features that were never shown or advertised.
	3.	Apple denied your refund request, which likely means you are abusing the refund system—otherwise, Apple is typically very lenient with refunds.
	4.	You mentioned that I could refund you via an Amazon gift card.
	5.	You could still request a refund again even if I had refunded you via a card or any other method.
        6. Previously, you said you wanted a refund because you didn’t like the app, but now you’re claiming it was an accidental purchase by your son

I find this highly suspicious, and only after considering these points did I decide not to reply to your last email regarding this matter. However, I have responded to all five of your previous emails.

### 1/5 — App and Customer service is very poor

*2025-02-13*

I left this review based on my honest experience with the app. If feedback and refund requests are considered ‘shady’ or ‘suspicious’ to you, that’s unfortunate. My mention of an Amazon gift card was based on a past experience where a developer, upon seeing that their app didn’t meet my expectations and that Apple denied my refund, kindly offered an alternative refund through PayPal. When PayPal wasn’t an option for me, they suggested a gift card as a gesture of goodwill. That wasn’t suspicious—it was simply an empathetic response.

Regarding the purchase, my son accidentally bought the app while handling my iPhone. I later reviewed it and realized it didn’t meet my needs. No matter what I explained, Apple denied the refund. That being said, I would have been happy to keep the app if it had been more useful, but instead of addressing my feedback, you chose to ignore my emails and now publicly call me out in a review response.

As for the app itself, Daily Challenge Tracker has clear limitations. While you market it as a habit tracker for weight, photos, water intake, and books read, in reality, only weight and photos have actual tracking features. Water intake and books read are just part of the general checklist, with no real tracking or progress records. Additionally, the task list lacks individual reminders—there is only one reminder for all tasks, which isn’t very useful. The app is essentially a simple to-do list with a ‘Today’ view, a photo tracker, and a weight tracker. That is all—for $5.99.

If my comments bothered you, a professional response would have been to acknowledge them or clarify your plans for future updates, rather than ignoring my emails and then publicly calling me out. I suggest focusing on improving the app and customer experience instead of attacking users in review replies.

**Developer response:** Hey. Sorry to hear that the app didn’t meet your expectations. However, it’s much more than a simple to-do list. The app includes weight tracking, photo tracking, water intake tracking, step counting, reading page tracking, and much more—making it a complete solution for transforming your habits and appearance.

You also reached out to us via email, first saying you liked the app, then immediately saying you didn’t. Later, you mentioned that Apple denied your refund request and asked if we could issue a refund through an Amazon gift card. All of this is very shady and suspicious. Please note that refunds can only be processed through the App Store, and we have no control over that process.

### 1/5 — App is very poor

*2025-02-11*

This app is incredibly poor, it’s just a plain to do list . It doesn’t have reminders specific for each task. The fonts are very small hard to see them. You can’t share with any friend. So this was the worst purchase I have ever made and my experience after purchasing the premium is incredibly negative.

**Developer response:** Hey. Sorry to hear that the app didn’t meet your expectations. However, it’s much more than a simple to-do list. ### 1/5 — Stuck on day 6

*2025-01-17, version 2.8*

Idk why, but it doesn’t unlock after the 6th day

### 1/5 — Not useful

*2025-01-14*

Not useful at all, considering I paid for it

**Developer response:** Hey, thanks for the review!
There’s a free trial, no payment required, that you can use to test the app and see if you like it. If you purchased the lifetime option and are not happy with it, please refer to the official Apple guide on how to request a refund (links can’t be attached here)
