New version is not good
Do keep in mind this review is written while the beta version is available (I still wouldn’t get your hopes up despite this) Cubic games gave us high hopes for this new project within BCW but it seems to have flopped, here is why. Everything you owned in the last version, it’s all gone. Many people would’ve spent hundreds or spent hours to grind but yeah you can kiss all that stuff goodbye. The game feels extremely slow compared to what it was. They keep forcing their PG3D weapons which it’s fine if they want to connect the universes but it’s just a glorified free play mode realistically. The missions are boring to play through, the weapons just don’t feel great to play with and overall it’s just a bit of a mess and a massive waste of time. I would avoid this game as well simply because cubic games made a HUGE mess of pg3d. They will do the same here. All they needed to do was just modernise the game and fix glitches but now be prepared for an ultimate pay to win messShow lessS a n s ; )

This update is not what I expected to be. All my progress is gone, guns and vehicles included and the update is a disaster. Should have left i if as it was rather than updating it for NewGens to play and experience. This game fell off hard and it’s laughable - From inactivity in online servers to an abomination.
But the one thing that’s nice is I have my coins and money - that’s nice, but as for my old cars and guns, they’re all gone. 👎👎👎Show lessMichaelB5711

Been playing this game since i was 14. its by far the best mobile game ive ever played but this latest update has got me worried. i dont know bout everybody else but i believe that incorporating more features into the previous version would have been better as opposed to changing the whole game...., it kinda feels like you are trying so hard to be like GTA , that your losing the unique concept of Block City War, especially the PVP perspective. Hello! We understand why you might be upset. We've decided to make Block City Wars 2.0 to add even more features. As the old version isn't supported anymore, we had to choose between closing the project and developing a better game instead. We've chosen the second option. What was nostalgic to my mobile gaming is now thrown away because greedy developers from a different studio came in and thought they could milk another 3D cubic shooter. 2 minutes into this gangster remake and I am appalled of what I saw and would have had to experience if I played another second of it. I admit, the old game died, but that is just an opportunity to make a new game not dismantle and ruin a old game’s title for the money! I know it is ridiculous to write this, but this is how upset I am that they threw away progress and memory’s to replace it with a progression road where you will need to waste your life away just to play! And honestly I looked at the App Store the other day and thought this was a Chinese knock off because of the discussing marketing posters for the game. It looks like your average Minecraft remaster by some guy named Sed. I give the old game a 5 because no matter how dead it was Block City Wars kept me, my friends, and my family coming back. I used to really like it until something happened… I logged in, my skin wasn’t equipped so I put it on as well with my armour and I checked to see if my guns were still equipped as nothing we had been … MY MINIGUN WAS GONE I put so much effort into it to use it and it hadn’t lasted a day I closed block city wars to try to get it back and no MY 460 COINS WERE GONE WHAT HAPPENED. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else and I want my belongings back or me is sueing this rigged game that we work hard for just for it to be taken away. Need updates because game is slowly dying
I’ve played this game a long time ago, the game was fun back then, but each year the game is slowly dying and its getting worse over time. Here’s why:
1, no updates, as of when i posted this review the last update was 8 months ago, the first update in years, after that up to today theres no updates, theres alot of bugs that needs to be fixed.
2, new guns, more guns need to be added, or atleast update them.
3, the lobby, a few years ago there was a bridge to the zombie island, few years that bridge was removed and replaced somewhere else, up to today that old bridge is still in that pic in the lobby, needs to be removed and the lobby needs to be updated.
4, new games, more games have to be added to the game, its fun playing those games and it would be great to add more games to play in the game.
And 5, the friends list needs to be updated.
This game needs to be updated and its losing players each year, to the point that when u earn more stars, the less players u will see in game, like say u have 20k stars, theres barely or at all any people on the games anymore, so it just gets more boring until theres nothing to do on the game anymore, basically all u can play is offline mode, and if u completed all the quests in offline mode, there’s barely nothing to do anymore. This game needs more updates to increase the players playing the game (if that made any sense), so please, update the game, if not, it was fun while it lasted.Show lessorrin906
Honest game review
I used to play this game non-stop back from 2018 to 2019 and honestly it was so much fun. I remember when the sniper barret and railpistol were the most OP weapons that every pro player would use to one shot other players.
Ever since the last big update (introduction of battle royal mode & the big changes to the map) the game seems to have lost most of it’s players. Every multiplayer game mode is pretty much impossible to play as no players join. For example, before I could play zombie mode but now nobody joins. Even in the free map mode that used to be crowded with players before I struggle to find ONE player now. The game is pretty much dead and it’s a shame because I have so many fun memories about it.
I read a while ago on instagram that there was a big update sort of a reboot coming, this was back in June/July and the last I heard about it was in November. Hopefully they will release this reboot staying true to the essence of the original BCW and revive it’s player base. Let’s also hope that it won’t turn into a p2w and constant money grab like PG3D has turned into.Show lessEnroi

This is one of my oldest games I’ve played when I was small and I remember the time playing the prison mode and everything it was all fun time good old timesad kerr
Dying game
So, I have had this game for a phew years, and when I first got it it was amazing! All the cool game modes, tons of players, all my friends had this game. We all played together happily, we had good laughs on this game. But now and for a long time, I feel like there is only 20 players, because it takes about 5 minutes for 1 person to join a game, I remember when I always used to play the cops and robbers game mode but now nobody plays it, and when they added battle royal everyone abandoned the OG game modes and started playing that, wich was ok, but then when battle royal died out literally no played, and most the games I’m only playing a 1v1 because there are no players, I also think there should be a story mode as that would add so much more to this game, anyway I think this game is dying, and I know there is a massive update coming but it won’t be the same,Show lessRaders council
Fix it please
When I play it’s fine but after a while the game wouldn’t let me in it would kick me as soon as I got in and I haven’t Been banned or anythinggustyads
