Replacement of WiFi thermostat

The thermostat developed a fault and I contacted the Termoweb support team (Pedro) to help source another unit (not possible to find a supplier on-line).
We had some issues but Pedro found a supplier and monitored the process throughout. This level of support is very unusual these days and it was surprising yet very pleasing to have such attention and help. Clearly, I would have preferred the unit to have not malfunctioned but the process of locating a new unit and the general help, in perfect English, was very much appreciated. I’ve worked in the engine development and support world with Rolls-Royce for nearly 40 years and I would be happy to have Pedro on my team anytime! Termoweb is lucky to have him!

Crashed 20 June 2023

After 3 years of use the app has frozen completely. No log in screen or anything just blank yellow. Tried deleting and reinstall. IPad restart, nothing working?

Not user friendly

I have been using this app for a couple of years or more now and it is not a good experience. This app is essential for us to control our electric heating and it is appalling to be so dependent when it is so cold and the app just decides not to work. The latest is that it claims to have no internet connection- it has
Obviously. There is no obvious way to reboot the app. Nothing works. So I can’t change heating settings which is a problem with family arriving tomorrow and a frigid home. With electric bills sky high I am terrified of huge bills. Please make this app more user friendly. It is no fair to customers to abandon us.

Could do with some work

When it’s working the app does exactly what you want.
But
1. It frequently locks up and I have had to turn my phone off and restart to make it work.
2. On occasion the back button simply disappears other times it’s fine
3. When you first open the app the screen shows the old temperatures and radiator settings and you have to manually renew to get the current values. Auto renew would be more logical.

The biggest problem is the lack of stability improving the rest would be improved

Locks up

Could be a great app but it often just locks onto a screen and you can’t do anything and unable to change settings. Really frustrating when wanting to change programme for the different rooms. Also sometimes buttons are missing so unable to go back to main screen.

App works well - shame it doesn’t integrate...

App on its own is good and simple to use on both iPad/iPhone. However I would be great if it could be made to integrate into a home assistant (Siri/Alexa/etc). Is this likely to be added in the future?

Crashed

App won’t open anymore. No update available in the AppStore. I’m guessing this company is finished.

Unreliable and full of bugs

I use this app to control my electric heaters. Sadly, it's full of bugs and extremely unreliable. There are many occasions where I haven't been able to schedule my heating, particularly on cold mornings as the app most often crashes when setting the timer. Really, really poor software for something as important as the heating in your home. Given that, one star is generous.
