## What is 8 Count AI?

Never lose count again. 8Count.ai uses on-device AI to analyze any song or dance video and instantly shows you the beat—so you always know exactly where "1" is, and where the downbeat lands.

Built for dancers of every style, 8Count.ai turns any music or video into a live, visual beat grid that highlights each beat in perfect sync with playback. Whether you're counting 8s, 6s, or 9s, the grid automatically follows the song's actual time signature and bar structure—no manual tapping or guessing required.

WHY DANCERS NEED IT

Finding the downbeat and locking into the 8-count is the foundation of learning any routine. 8Count.ai does this analysis for you, on-device, in seconds—turning any track into a clear, countable rhythm map you can practice with, anywhere, with no internet connection needed.

KEY FEATURES

- On-Device AI Beat Detection — Import a song or dance video and 8Count.ai analyzes tempo (BPM), beats, bars, key, and song structure entirely on your device.
- Visual Beat Grid — A large, easy-to-read counter highlights the current beat live, perfect for practicing across the room or mirroring choreography.
- Full Screen Mode — Switch to one giant number per beat when you need to see the count from farther away.
- Customizable Colors — Assign a unique color to each beat position, or choose from built-in palettes like Sunset, Ocean, Aurora, and more.
- Loop Practice — Loop the whole track, or drag to select a specific bar range to drill a tricky section on repeat.
- BPM Speed Control — Slow the music down or speed it up while keeping pitch natural, then fine-tune to an exact target BPM.
- Works with Video, Too — Play dance videos with the beat grid overlaid directly on top of the footage.
- Import from Anywhere — Bring in files from the Files app, a USB drive, your Photos library, or your Apple Music library.

WHO IT'S FOR

Dance teachers who need to demonstrate counts to a class. Choreographers building routines. Students learning to hear the 8-count. Anyone who wants to find the downbeat and understand a song's rhythm at a glance—no matter what style you dance.

8Count.ai finds the beat—so you can focus on the dancing.

PRO ACCESS

The free plan lets you import and analyze up to 5 songs or videos. 8Count.ai Pro ($0.99/month or $4.99/year) unlocks unlimited imports, custom beat colors, BPM fine-tuning, and bar-range loop practice.
