I don’t know how to use it

Always unstable, no matter what

It’s meant to be a good and clearly very helpful app, but it’s always unstable and randomly gets “stuck” into white screens. I thought this was to do with app updates but it’s not. It’s just a pity because it’s clearly very helpful for parents to access their kids info, but it is plagued by random issues.

Very spammy, payments complicated, not intuitive

Glitches a lot

Good app and much easier than phone calls but it glitches constantly, I open it and am met with nothing but a white screen. I then have to delete, redownload and start again. Can’t see anywhere on the website for assistance with this.

Updates every week makes app unusable

How is it that in 2025 you can’t use the app without updating every 2 weeks! Lazy developers over complicating a simple app. Poor UX and layout. How is such a small app so terrible to use. Horrible!!!

Good idea but it

Keeps crashing!

Cannot Edit

I have just downloaded and started to complete the information on the app. I hit one wrong button and cannot change any of the information.

Worryingly it’s the family member section that’s the issue, like who is the emergency contact! I have tried swopping the names, unable to do that too. What about child safety concerns here?? No option to delete a family member??

My child isn’t even on this app yet and I have serious concerns

No way to pay through app

We’ve been trying to set up a way to pay our monthly bills but the app doesn’t allow you to set up a payment option. We’ve tried downloading the app on different devices but we keep getting a pop up alert saying “something went wrong”. No one to chat to about the issues or nowhere we can contact someone to help. Very frustrating

Great but payments flawed

On the whole I really enjoy using Famly. However my childcare provider has tried to set up TFC payments for everyone after notification from Famly that this would be available (it’s not). Now I am unable to access my Famly account at all without setting up a direct debit/automatic payments. There is no option to ignore/set up later. This meant I was unable to view my child’s accident report yesterday. Completely unacceptable.

Parent user review

Nice app for tracking development, seeing photos, tracking daily activities. Could do with the ability to sync the calendar with Apple or outlook etc. calendars or the ability to push reminders so that users don’t have to key the events into other calendars. It would be great if photos were downloadable and viewable in a grid in addition to full screen as it is slow to navigate through over 1000 photos.
