Kid Kelly spent months hyping up this app more than a dozen times a week on the show. A few months later and the streaming feature has been down for weeks, a winner was never chosen for the $5k giveaway, and the app itself has virtually no actual content. A disappointment because in recent month the show itself has gotten a refresh and sounds better than ever. But all of the promises for the app features like streaming the show, playing back vintage shows, the 80s cruise and the cash giveaway all seem to be gone after so much on air hype.

I grew up tuning into BacktraxUSA (both 80s & 90s) on Saturday nights on the radio. I’ve taken this show with me on concert nights, homework marathons, ventures around town, commuting home from my very first job, and now all the way to college! I am truly amazed at the expansion of this show and am looking forward to its bright future (go fetch some shades for me too)!
