thank you for this app. i’ve been using it for nearly ten years now. it still amazes me how no other recording app offers anything close to this many features, all of which are extremely useful. over the years i have tried to switch to other apps with prettier interfaces, only to come back to this one when the other app failed me. it has saved me many times, don’t know what i’d have done without it.Show lessrth84

Great Powerful Product
I have been using this product for years, with great results. I’ve tried other audio, recorders, and never found one that has this combination of reliability and capability. The free version is really fair and only puts up ads. I bought the paid version to support the company.maphound35
Options Galore
I record notes a lot with my phone and sometimes the files can be quite large. Instead of cutting them down to a size small enough to send over email to a work computer (which is locked down from accepting Bluetooth file or just about anything else), I just disconnect from my work’s VPN and connect with the app for direct download through a local IP address provided.Show lessSqueakycheee
Only App That Works Well for Audio Trimming
I don’t understand why Apple can’t take the time to make a built-in feature or app that is like this one. This is an AMAZING app. I love all the conversion options, trim options, and the ability to precisely select and scrub up to the millisecond (I think it's millisecond, at least.)

Best one for songwriters - Northing comes close
Powerful and elegant. I've tried them all. For songwriting, this is the best recording app on the market. Key features: 1. Bookmarking. With ability to shift the start time of the bookmark by different amounts. I call this the “Burt Bacharach” feature because of his wish to have this kind of audio recording feature. 2. Simple “section extract”. So when you stumble on a killer 30 seconds of songwriting inspiration in a 30 minute session and you want to carve out that chunk and save it as a new file. Great implementation of that feature. 3. Flexible and easy way to backup songs to multiple cloud services. 4. Autorepeat. A must have for songwriting. 5. Easy to import Apple Voice Memos. 6. Note taking. 7. Identifies the notes I play on my guitar during playback. So I can go back and figure out what I played. 8. File organization is prolific. Every option you can think of. Has a ton of other stuff as well: All the main file formats. Easy to share with others. Nice implementation of audio effects to enhance the sound.
Note: There are two versions that are essentially identical. There is Voice Recorder Pro. And then there is Voice Record 7. The only difference is that Voice Record 7 has a more modern, flat design. I like this version best.Show lessMACBOOK MINI

Why, when I open a audio file, doesn’t it play from the beginning of the file???
They always start about halfway or quarter way through…

Recording Stops When Phone Is Locked
This app has become useless after OS 16. If the side button is pressed more than 3 times, the recording stops. If the Lock Screen recognizes your face ID, the recording stops. If the phone is emergency locked, the recording stops. I went to their support page, and there’s no way to contact them that I could see.Show lessrhabou
App crashes when I tried to export to export audio
