Could be so good, BUT...
I really like this app; I play Four Rivers the most and visually, it’s really well-designed - unlike some of the other Four Rivers or Majong apps I’ve tried, the tiles are clear, you can see which ones you’re selecting, and it’s clear when you make a pair. It’s fun to play. BUT some of the levels are literally NOT possible to complete because of the layout of the tiles - i.e. there are NO possible paths for certain pairs. It’s actually unplayable by level 40, and you can’t go back to previous levels except by deleting the app and reinstalling. I don’t know if this is an oversight or actually intentional to make people PAY for shuffles because you would think they could use an algorithm that would place the tiles 3 moves away from each other?! If they fixed that, this would be so great! One other thing: I wish they would use the tile design from the Four Rivers in the main Majong game - the ones now are badly drawn and really difficult to see at a glance.

Will this comment appear 3 times? I just completed a review a second time, hit SEND, got a response "Nickname already used" and it kicked me out again. Apology to reader, if this sounds familiar.

Despite my great love for this app, I'm deleting it today because of the latest version of 4 Rivers. I've been on level 40 for 3 weeks and just figured out the increasing difficulty levels are designed to force you to buy hints. It's no longer fun, guys, and I'm assuming it would only get more difficult if I did manage to get beyond level 40.

Game over - good-bye app, but thanks for the memories.

Time filled
Great game. Need more variety and maybe a way to earn 'guesses' or hints instead of having to pay all the time. Overall, def one to download! Thanks for your hard work!

Mahjong - river something
Couldn't get the hang of how to play this game but sometimes after playing Mahjong I have given it another go and I have just figured out how it works. Am really enjoying this game as it looks like it will be quite challenging, but not too challenging.
