  • Update: Could Improve - fun money trap

One star because it’s now completely impossible to advance. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get past Four Rivers level 40. Is it even possible without shuffling the board a hundred times?!?!? Come on!!! This is the only Mahjong app I’ve found that I like and I can’t even play it anymore. I just got to level 40 after being stuck on 39 for days because of the impossible original layout and now this one is even worse. I don’t even have to remove any tiles before realizing that it’s completely impossible to win without shuffling. The game should be difficult - not impossible. Updated this review to now be one star because of this. Original review below.

3 stars because this is the only Mahjong app I’ve found that I like. Problem is so many of the puzzles are impossible based on the starting layout! I’m not going to pay for shuffles when it’s not my fault that the puzzle is impossible. I like that there’s no ads, but I’d be happy to watch an ad at my request for some free shuffles!

If the game creator made this app to make money, you’re missing out by not having ads.

  • Four rivers level 40

There is no possible way of beating this level
  • Ridiculous

It’s like the person/people who created this app made it and then never actually played it.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun. But there are a lot of simple options that were left out. Being able to reset a puzzle so you can try the same one again, actually having the puzzles to be solvable... etc. I made it to level 38 of 4 Rivers. I finally got frustrated because I continuously got to 2 pieces left and was unable to win. At one point, I gave up and decided to reshuffle. There were 6 pieces left, the puzzle reshuffled, and only one move was available. I reshuffled again, just to see what would happen with 4 pieces left, it rearranged the pieces and again, I was only able to make one move before running out if options. Mahjong puzzles are supposed to be solvable; difficult but solvable.
Just a lot of stupid things that are missing; in Klondike, there’s no undo option... just a bunch of little things missing that make the game frustrating.
I’m not going to pay for extra options when those extra options still aren’t going to allow the puzzle to be solvable. Think, developers, think!
Hopefully they pull their heads out of their butts. I’ll never know. After playing level 38 for the hundredth time(barely exaggerating), I’m just going to find another app and delete this one.

  • Faulty or scam?

I came here to report for myself and also saw someone else say that on harder levels they give you unsolvable levels, i have also confirmed this by playing over and over, and using the auto solve which was unable to solve it, i have struggled hard on some levels and now im not surprised. This makes you think if its fault of poor scripting or purposely implemented to get people buying more specials? Either way im sure it succeeds in having people waste money on a level that is unsolvable. Heck is this even allowed? Im sure they are breaking some rules here. Save your time and get a different mahjong game.

  • Time please

I love this game and it used to be my go to before bed, because I could still see the time on the screen. But something has happened and the time has gone away. I know it’s only a little thing but I really liked it. Please make it come back.
  • Outrageous in-app purchases

The app is well designed and user friendly for about 15 minutes of easy play, then you reach a level of challenge where you might actually enjoy the game, and necessary functions are restricted. Once you reach level 35 and up, and have need of a shuffle function, the app requires an in-app purchase of coins to pay per shuffle. The prices are outrageous and definitely NOT worth it. It was a fun game for about 15 minutes, then it just got annoying because I had to quit and reset to a new game every time a solution wasn’t possible (which was a large majority of the time as many of the upper level hands are organized in a manner that makes the puzzle impossible to solve—without shuffle). Do not recommend.

  • DO NOT GET

I was trying to play this game and it would not let me doing anything. I was riding my horse and trying to play a game and it wouldn’t do anything. I was on WiFi so I turned it off and that just made it worse. It glitches a lot to. Idk how good or bad it is for y’all but it’s bad for me right now. I keep trying to do stuff but nothing happens. I’ve tried going back and fourth between the levels and that didn’t help one bit. So I turned my phone off and got back on and tried to play but then it just shut my phone off and it took me 2 dats to get it back on. I was so mad. My phone also started glitching so that’s why when I’m don’t writing this I’m going to delete this game forever and I also tried to put it back on my phone but it didn’t work AT ALL!

  • Rip ya blind

This suite is just a rip-off to raise money.
Those of us who play do not pay to win.
I am now going to remove this from my device, and I will never download on of your apps again.
    Bye
  • Don’t buy shuffles..!!

I’ve completed Four Rivers up to level 50, but it now keeps presenting impossible tile layouts. Don’t buy shuffles - I previously managed to solve the infamous Four Rivers level 40 down to two matching tiles, but in impossible positions. I’d gotten close before and used my original shuffles to no good use. However I thought getting the legendary level to this stage warranted doing what I’ve never done before - pay for additions in an app. I bought 5 shuffles at a cost if £1.99, the shuffles were a waste of money as it didn’t change the location of either tile (I’ll be requesting a refund.) I’ve been playing Majong for years and this one is ok, the tiles are nice and clear, but I do not like being cheated by taking money fraudulently. It’s quite addictive but not as difficult as some others platforms. Sorry but you’ve ruined something good in the pursuit of money..!! Don’t go chasing the completion of levels by buying shuffles.
