  • Interesting for 10 mins

It was interesting to look through the photos once or twice - well the photos that are free. You can't view all pictures without paying £1.49. So I downloaded the app, flicked through the photos and deleted the app.
  • Seriously?

What a ruse! There were hardly any photos. Very disappointing...
  • It is what it is...

The concept is simple. Pictures show you how much 200 calories are for various foods. Makes your "guesstimate" a little more accurate.

I love this app. For the style and many stuff, it would be 5 stars. But it can grow further. And can you add Chinese cousins too?
  • Sooo useful

Love this app. Counting calories is a bore and visualising 200 calories makes it all much easier. Plus you start to learn what 200 looks like without the weighing.
Great when you're busy and don't want to tap in all the searches and weights to your health/diet app.

Of course it helps that the app is beautifully designed and photographed. You can even request new foods to be added.

It would be perfect if it interacted with the top food diaries so you could tap a food to add it to your diary, but still one of my favourite apps. Love it! Thanks :)

  • Good app

Wow! I have never seen more complainers commenting on an app.

This is a very simple straightforward app. It has photos of some foods showing what a portion of 200 calories is. It doesn't purport to be much else. And contrary to what many people are saying here in these comments, you can easily switch between metric and imperial (milligrams/ounces).

I purchased the full app and have easily gotten my moneys worth. Are the portions perfect? Maybe not, but they do give you a good overview of where you can go wrong with 200 cal. And that's really what this app is all about. Giving you a better sense of what eating half a cupcake gives you and what eating a plate full of tomatoes give you. All the pictures are right next to each other so it's easy to compare them.

I think it's a great app for what it does. Can you find the information elsewhere? Sure. I can also find the CIA world fact book elsewhere, a dictionary, WebMD and much other information. But I want I'm on my phone.

The thing that's great about this app is you can download it and look at a ton (about half) of photos without purchasing anything. If you don't like it delete it.

I suggest you download the app and see for yourself if you get anything out of it. If not delete it, if you do then support the developer.

  • Paid for the upgrade but never got it

Paid for the upgrade but never got any extra pictures only ever had access to the very few on the free version
Now I am being asked to purchase all over again.
  • Needs more items!

It's very helpful although not all the information is accurate. Ex. According to this app brown rice is almost 3 times as calorie dense than white rice which is completely false. Also even if you pay for the extra items there's just not enough options. On the other hand I like the concept and I like how you can request foods for them to add to their list. It's simple and easy to understand.

  • Great tool

This awesome as I can have a quick flick through see where I am really easy too use to me worth the money
  • Has potential

The idea behind this app is a great one and one that I for sure could stand to benefit from as Im sure other people will as well. Some suggestions for improvement would be to: 1) grow the list to more common foods like fries, a big mac burger, spinach or lettuce etc. 2) it would be great if you could add a sliding scale to increae the food amount which automatically works out number or calories based on volumes set by the slider i.e. Get beyond the 200 calories.
