Great app
I love the this app. But there’s a problem with the footnote links. I’m using spin from jw.org and there seams to be a problem with the footnotes links o,ly.DFJsck
Difficult to sync between devices
I love the format of this reader. Especially the book theme. However I stopped using it for 2 reasons. The bar above is just too hard to read in night mode. And most importantly syncing is not an easy task. To down load a book I have to do it on both devices. Then I have to open each one and get pass the cover and extra pages to the contents page. Then I have to sync it. On my other devices e I have to sync it, I can read but before closing I have to re sync it. Nothing streamlined. Wish it flowed better because I really love the layout. I also have to recreate all my shelves and place books seperately into those shelves. Just wish it talked better between devices.Show lessmfv72
Great app but notes are broken
I love this app but notes seem to be broken in iOS 14. I can make a note but then it moves after I create it. This happens consistently for me. Hoping an update will fix it.Carl Flippin
Favorite ebook reader
This is my favorite non Apple ebook reader. The developer is super responsive too.icalc
Notes are having problems
iOS 14 appears to have introduced a bug that makes it really hard to create notes. I look forward to an update :-)volwrath
Worthless....waste of money.
1. Fails while importing EPUB books and PDF files from Calibre.
2. Fails to import a number of EPUB books from Calibre. Shows it there, but cannot read it. Marvin has not issue with any of them.
3. Has trouble with even PDF documents that Marvin and other PDF readers can.
4. IN EBOOKS cannot get the line spacing to adjust regardless of settings I use.
Very disappointed after reading some reviews and articles. Wish I had not wasted my money on this product.Show lessw777

Not quite there yet
The reader is great, one of the best available on iOS right now. If only the other features would also work properly, this app would easily be worth double the price, but they don't. Sync across devices doesn't work properly, the "download" button is missing completely on some devices for the same book and same calibre server, and so on.

Then I tried to Register It . . . . & EVERYTHING WENT SOUTH ! I put in my eMail Addr, a OTP, was sent, when I tried to put the OTP in the space provided ON PRIOR PAGE . . . It Disappeared. . . .F I X I T OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK !!!

Very polished eBook app
MapleRead SE is a very convenient app to use and read eBooks and PDFs. It’s Secure Sync makes it a snap to manage reading locations, bookmarks, notes, and word definitions (vocabulary) between all of my iOS devices.
