Stopped Working

I paid for and was enjoying this app, using it with my Flickr account. Then all of a sudden it won’t retrieve the photos any more. I contacted the developer, but got no response. Too bad, it was nice while it worked.

Great App

I have used this app for a number of years to breath new life into an ancient iPad. The family all love being able to see pictures of our adventures every day.

I would love to see a feature that switches the slideshow on every morning to save me having to remember to do it when I get up. Even better, how about one that uses the iPad’s front camera to detect movement and then plays the slideshow for a set period of time?

We're glad to hear you are enjoying LiveFrame! We will look into your motion detection idea in the future. In the meantime, have you tried the sleep/wake feature that is currently available? It allows the slideshow to go dark overnight and resume in the morning.

Fantastic App

This is such an incredible app. I love photography and looking at pictures I have previously taken. I used this app to take an frame an old iPad and hung in my kitchen to shuffle through 20,000 + pictures stored in iCloud all day long. It's great walking by and seeing old photos. Family members have liked it so much that I helped them with a similar setups.

I've also emailed the developer of this app for previously issues that I had and they responded promptly and let me know in what release the issues would be corrected. Great customer service!

No option to Uniform Fill or change transitions

This app could be so much more, but its functionality is extremely limited. To start, it needs an option to scale images to fill the screen so that we don’t have to see ugly black bars for every image that doesn’t fit the same aspect ratio of the display device. It also needs an option to disable or at least change the playout length of transitions - the only option is one, very VERY slow fade. It’s great that the app can sync with so many cloud storage providers, though I wasn’t able to get Dropbox to work. Once linked to Dropbox, nothing happens when I start the slideshow, even after half an hour of waiting - just black. Changing the options to select a particular dropbox folder also doesn’t work - it just throws up an error so long that it falls off the screen.

Thanks for your message! A Pan and Zoom transition was added to the latest update (1.11.5).

Works fell, not full screen for iPad Pro 12.9”

Love the ability to shuffle photos and set the time an image is displayed - there aren’t many apps that are capable at doing this.

I kindly ask the developer to please make a version that utilizes the entire iPad Pro 12.9” screen - right now I have black bars on both sides of the screen.

Wow what an app! Enabled us to take a near redundant iPad 2 and turn it into a digital photo frame running off google photos. As a family we are now reliving wonderful memories which would have remained stuck away on a storage drive. Highly recommend as when I did have to contact liveframe for support following an update the problem was resolved quickly.

Excellent Photo Frame App

This is an ideal use for an old iPad Air. It works nicely with iCloud photo sharing and the superimposed time and weather feature is really useful. The developers are responsive to feature requests and as of this latest version, I don’t see how it could be improved.

Works great.

Randomly crashed. Restarted, turn on and off iCloud photo syncing. Fixed the problem.

UX feedback: Change the folder selection options menu icon to not use the share/action sheet one. Make it a folder or something so it’s clearer.

Using to show school photos montage on entry-way TV (with cracked-screen iPad).

Appreciate large variety of photo sources. (Google, Flickr, iCloud).

Improvements we would like to see...
- 16x9 full-screen HDTV output, not just iPad display mirroring. (Like Photos does with Slideshow.) 4x3 iPad output wastes left-side and right-side of TV display.
- Bit of Ken Burns or VERY subtle zooming while photo displayed.
