Honestly, so worth it
This app is amazing. It’s really helpful and like really fun at the same time especially like all the crops like the flowers the trees they like really like like the design is really good. Therefore it makes it even more fun and definitely the fact that you have to purchase it with the coins that you get from studying so when you study you get coins as like a achievement so you get coins which is like and then you keep studying and like motivates you to like build up these coins so then you can like purchase those plants different plants. Definitely definitely worth the money the six dollars so definitely recommend highly recommend it helped a lot like I’ve been starting a lot so definitely recommend buying.Show lessKumari3449
Great app! Heres a few suggestions
Just got this app and love it! I was struggling with motivation to study and was becoming depressed. After listening to an andrew huberman podcast about dopamine I decided to do a detox from the things i was using to procrastinate. This alongside using forest has finally made study feel rewarding. A few little recommendations,
- i love the timeline feature and was wondering if the developers could allow us to attach photos, that would be awesome!
- also i feel that it would be much more satisfying to see your forest grow progressively instead of just adding another full grown tree. Then you would also be able to see which trees were planted first as they would be the biggest. Doing this would make it look more like a realistic forest. And the only time the trees would grow, is when ur in deep focus or using the stopwatch, further incentivising the user to focus!

I think the app is great! I especially love the customisation for allowing certain apps without killing your tree since I am an iPad user and I no longer have an iPhone.
Things I would improve / want to see:
Missing out on event trees is a big shame in my opinion and seeing as the app is already a payed app and these trees were free during their event, I would like to see the opportunity to earn these trees for free. Maybe having a certain amount of study hours (these can be high like 500+) you can earn a tree. Or maybe at a certain accumulated hours you can earn the currency required to pay for these trees. Either way some way to earn it so everyone has the chance to unlock trees that were once free. Since most students use this app and would like to use the adorable event trees. The option to pay can still be available for those who are impatient.
Compared with other focus apps, I think a section with a To-do list would help me increase my productivity. It would be nice to have everything I need to do all on one app. It would be great if it was customisable like setting a certain task to be complete at a certain time in a certain time frame (Eg 1hr) and the to-do list can be colour coded to group specific types of tasks.Show lessJane69xxx

I’ve already become so much more productive. And the separate tags help you understand how much time you spent on specific focus activities. It works people.
Only hope the graphics get better. Like wouldn’t it be cool to see aggregate data say like a forest of willow trees with the user experience walking through months of work? The ceiling for this concept is extremely high.Show lesstomnobody5

A concentration game
The feature that it will stop if you close the app is great. It treats it like a little game with yourself and as a competitive person with serious procrastination/concentration problem, this works a charm. I recommend it for anyone who needs that little extra help focussing on it. There’s even a little prize in the form of a cute little plant or decoration. It creates a sense of accomplishment even if nothing gets finished in the time set at least you feel like you’ve done something, which I think is part of the problem for procrastinators like me.
