Seems to NOT Function
Just downloaded, and no screen except map seem to be working. I have “opened” from the app which loads the map and altitude, but not the compass. Nothing about the compass indicates the correct orientation. I will delete shortly.

How do I stop the Chinese writing and alerts in Chinese?

No use on iWatch
Its display on iWatch was just Chinese writing and a few meaningless English words. No use at all. Apple Built in compass on phone is far better than this too.
