We all expect an unpopular mobile app to be decent at best (I did). HyperPad is way more than I thought it was.
If I say it isn't bloated you assume that means limited when actually the scripting is just... there... you can do anything with it.
If I say it's capable of complexity you assume it's a glitch ridden mess when the base behaviors for creating levels work fine and can be learned near immediately.
The interface looks like there's not much you can do because of how well they organized the assets/behavior panels. The visual scripting is a complete language.
Having my engine on my illustration/editing device is the smoothest workflow possible.
If I seem like I'm trying to hard sell it's because I can see the team isn't getting much recognition which is shocking for what this actually is. I'd find it hard to believe anyone found HyperPad frustrating or limited and if they did; they certainly aren't a corporation so, I'm sure they appreciate the purchase and would take your suggestions into account (they have mine).Show lessNeilSenn
I LOVE THE APP but…….
This is a great app but there is one problem. I can’t access the get assets when I am trying to make a game and get a asset. I would love for this to get fixed. I also can’t do help too. So just please fix these but out of that. ITS GREAT.Ultimatedragon1046

This is an immensely powerful engine, allowing you to EFFORTLESSLY build your own apps/games AND test them without having to jump through a million hoops to run it (like how most programs function)!! It’s SO convenient, SO simple, and SO powerful! I can’t recommend this app enough to people. Having this app has given me the funnest hobby I’ve ever had, that being game development.
You can effortlessly import your own graphics, music, and more! It has a built in system to quickly make particle effects and sound effects, but you can also import those if you made custom ones!
The more I program, the more I realize just HOW crazily good this app is. Like I said earlier, it’s severely underrated. PLEASE try it if you think this is your kind of thing!Show lessMcintough
The app crashes
I would of give this app a 4 or 5 star if only the developer team ere responsible enough to reply me about an issue I’ve been having since I bought this app days ago. The background button doesn’t work, every time I try to resize an image the app crashes immediately. Like I said before I sent several complains to the company and NONE! It can seriously do so much, I’ve made RPGS in this, FNAF games, 2D platformers, and so much more. It’s sleek, easy to understand, and the block based coding is not limiting at all. It can seriously do and accomplish so much!
You can import your own graphics and music too, so you can TRULY make whatever you are working on your own. You can also share your games/apps on the HyperPad hub, OR you can share them on the App Store if you want. I’ll be sharing one of my games on the App Store soon!
The consistent strong updates are another great feature too, they ALWAYS improve this app tremendously, too. Adding keyboard support is a good sign that this app is growing and about to become huge. I’m very happy to say I was an old, classic user of it!

This is Amazing! My first game is in Development, and i’m making a lobby, but i want the lobby to be Top-Down like the early Zelda games, Up, Down, Left, Right, so if thats possible in hyper pad,let me know!ggg DAB
It’s good but just one thing…
I’m only 10 and I think I’m old enough to submit my games, but for some reason it says I’m not old enough to submit projects. Can you make a update or fix it please?FuntoonsYT

You must be 13 or older to submit projects to the hub, and access community features.This app is awesome!
its powerful enough to make almost anything you want if you take the time to learn it. The block-based coding is amazing and simple, while also having enough different functions to make it surprisingly deep and highly versatile! Not to mention it’s effortless to import your own custom graphics and music. I’ve made 2D platformers, FNAF games, Auto-runners, puzzles, and even RPGS in this. I highly recommend trying this app if you have any desire to make a game. My one hope is that the developers can get it ported to PC so it can continue to grow!Show lessCan make anything even though I never took any classes for coding
The block based coding is extremely powerful and simple to use! I love this app, and have used it for over 5 years (even back when it was called gamepress). I’ve made 2D platformers, RPGS, FNAF-like games, and Angry Birds games. This app can seriously do it all. Importing graphics and music is a breeze, and there’s plenty of tutorials if you have any questions. Not to mention, every update actually vastly improves this app. My only gripe is that it isn’t on PC yet! Please get on it, guys!Show less
