Keeps resubmitting old requests
This app works fine for submitting requests, with the exception of one major flaw - it will randomly re-submit old (dealt with) 311 requests! I’m sure that this must waste taxpayer dollars as someone has to go out and confirm the issue. You also cannot cancel or delete requests either, for example, if you made a mistake or noticed that it was re-submitted by the app in error.
My only other problem with it is that when it uses gps/a map to locate an address for the 311 request it only shows the roads and not a satellite image. This makes it hard to identify houses or specific locations if the issue doesn’t occur at an intersection.
Other than that it is easy to use and it’s nice to be able to track the status of the 311 requests!

Would like updates to this...
Cannot delete or modify unactioned upon requests. For instance I submitted a complaint and the found answer on city website, Now I can no longer delete submitted complaint. Frustratingly unfunctional app at times... which will cost more money when they waste time fumbling around and reviewing my submission 🤦🏼♂️

Outdated, non user friendly, slow, essentially pointless. City of Edmonton, get it together. This app is an embarrassment.
Allow Updates
Many times I could have used the app to save the City a lot of time and money if I, as the complainant, could update my complaint. If the problem no longer exists (i.e. the car in a parking complaint has moved).

For convenience sake, I was hoping to file a noise complaint online instead of calling in and waking up the whole house....to my surprise, it wasn’t an option. I also tried submitting a requisition for a pot hole, but it required photos. It doesn’t make sense to me as I’m driving on the road, and I wouldn’t be stopping my car in the middle of the road or whitemud/henday to take a photo of the pot hole condition to submit on the app. Lastly, the app looks and feels very outdated. Please update it if you intend for people to make use of the app.

Worst APP Ever
No one must be monitoring this app. I have reported the same potholes 7 times and there has been zero response; it’s been over 45 days & potholes have not been looked at ? Or been repaired ! All I can do is slow to a crawl so I don’t wreck my vehicle.
This is pretty typical of the city of Edmonton practice. It seems to be a waste of time and money on the part of the city.

What’s the point of reporting?
Most of the time city doesn’t do anything regarding to all the reports. 100% of my parking and pot hole report came back not fixed at all. App is useful but city hall is crap about fixing stuff.
Doesn’t work
Tried submitting things a couple times and it just gives an ‘unprocessable item’ error which is useless. City administration needs a complete overhaul, based on this app and my previous experience with the bylaw and tax departments. Citizens are your customers and bosses. You need to do way better than this.
